OPENING PRAYER

Let’s pray!
SONG
🎷The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
Jehovah the Man of war
Your mercy endureth forever and ever
Oh praise His Holy name
God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob. The original I AM, the I AM THAT I AM, the Unchangeable Lord, the One who knows the end from the beginning, we worship You. We give You all glory, all honour, and all adoration for Your mercy that has kept us thus far. It is of Your mercy that we are not consumed. It is because the mercy is renewed everyday, that is why we are still here today, we worship You, Lord. Father, please accept our worship in Jesus’ Name.
Today, Your children gathered together again to worship at Your feet, we pray that in Your own wonderful way, You will open the heavens unto us. And You will let all the miracles that can follow from an open heaven become available to us. Help us, oh Lord. Speak to us, oh Lord. Heal us, oh Lord. Set the captives among us free, oh Lord. And let’s begin to enjoy Your mercy like never before. Thank You, Almighty God. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed, Amen!
Praise the Lord. Hallelujah!

THE MESSAGE

Text – Jeremiah chapter 1
4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
MOSES, A CHILD OF DESTINY.
The Almighty God made it clear that before any of us came into this world, He knew us. He knew our parents, He brought them together to produce a very special person, and that person has a specific assignment that the Almighty God has for him/her.
You are not here by accident, that is very important. We are children of destiny. God knew what He was doing when He brought us into the world. And He will use any means to make sure He gets us here. So, there is no accident in the birth of any child.
Occasionally, parents are desperately looking for a boy but God gives them a girl because it is a girl that He wants to send for a time like this. He knows what He is doing; He knows the end from the beginning. He knows your end before you were born, that is very important.
Moses was a child of destiny, we are also children of destiny.
Genesis chapter 15
13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
In Exodus 12:35-36, when the children of Israel were leaving Egypt, they spoilt the Egyptians.
You are a child of destiny just like Moses.
The devil was waiting for Moese because He knew God’s prophecy concerning Moses and the Israelites.
In Exodus 1:15-17, Moses escaped death.
The children of Israel multiplied mightily. And the more they were persecuted, the more they increased.
Moses escaped death because the midwives didn’t obey the king because God was in control.
God had been in control of your life long before you were born, and He was in control the day you came to this world.
In Deuteronomy 32:39, the Almighty God said, “I’m the One who decides who will live or die. The one I kill will die and the one I keep alive will remain alive.”
Nobody can kill you unless God is ready. It doesn’t matter how many attempts the enemy may make in your life, only God can kill.
MOSES WAS RAISED BY HIS ARCHENEMY.
God got his mother to put him in a basket and push the basket into a river. He got the princess to bathe at the river at the right time, found the boy, pulled him out of the water, paid his mother for his upkeep, and brought him to the palace when he grew old.
Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
You have been growing, succeeding, and prospering even though you are surrounded by enemies because there is a power that is above all power.
There is a God; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Lord of hosts Himself. When He says you will prosper in the presence of your enemies, so shall it be.
Moses began to grow, but there was something within him that kept on telling him, “You are like a prince now in Egypt but you have a purpose.” Destiny kept on beating in his heart, telling him, “Oh, oh, you are born a deliverer. You are not to stay here in Egypt pretending to be a prince. These very people that are being treated as slaves are your true flesh and blood, and you have an assignment for them.”
Exodus chapter 2
11 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.
There are many of you that something within you tells you from time to time, “You are more than who you think you are”. You are not here for fun, you are here for a mighty purpose and the thing keeps pushing you and telling you, “God has an assignment for you.”

PRAYER

I pray for everyone listening to me today, the assignment God has for you, He will reveal to you today.
Moses tried to achieve the purpose of God by using wrong physical strength and he failed terribly.
According to Zachariah 4:6, it is not by physical power or might, but by the spirit of the Almighty God.
The assignment God has for you cannot be achieved by human ability, you are going to need the spirit of the living God to achieve it. Because the purpose of God for your life is too big for you to achieve it with your own strength.
Where God is taking you cannot be reached by human reasoning, ability and education.
Look at my life, a mathematician should not become a pastor, why? Because mathematics and christianity are running in parallel lines logically.
Mathematics goes by proof while christianity is by faith. God said the just shall live by faith. Then, the Almighty God crossed the parallel lines, grabbed the mathematician, and turned him to a pastor. Only God can do that.
Moses ended at the back of the desert because of his mistakes and he was there for forty years.
Lesson from Moses’ mistake: Destiny could be delayed but it would not be denied.
Genesis 37:5-11 is the story of Joseph. God showed Joseph what he would become.
God has a timetable for your ultimate destiny.
In Genesis 50:15-51, when Joseph’s brothers fell before him, he would have remembered his dream. The heavens opened for him when God was ready.
In Exodus 2:23-25, the Bible says the children of Israel were suffering but God was counting the years. When God’s time came, Exodus chapter 3 followed, and that was when the heavens opened unto Moses.
It is written in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, God has a time for everything.
In Acts 2:1-4, the heaven opened unto the apostles when the day of pentecost was fully come.
There is a time that God has attached to your destiny.

PRAYER

The time that God has attached to your destiny will be now.
Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
PRAYERS
You are going to arrive at where God is taking you to.
You are going to arrive where God is taking you to.
Things might be causing a delay but the Almighty is working His purpose out.
PRAYER
In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, the day for somebody to suddenly see the heavens opening is today.
Why? God is never late, He is always on time.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
God is never too late and you can’t force Him. As soon as the time comes, certain things will work out for your glory.

ALTAR CALL

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and on the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Today is the day of your salvation.

SALVATION PRAYER

If you haven’t given your life to Jesus Christ, run to the altar if you are in church. If you are at home, pray: “Lord, please save my soul today and I will begin to serve You like I have never done before.”
The rest of us, let us thank the Almighty God because today might be the day He has made. The day when we are going to rejoice, be glad, and the day when the heavens are going to open unto us.
My Father and my God, I want to thank You once again for Your Word. I give You all glory and honour for the people whom the heavens will open for today, particularly those crying to You for salvation, please receive them, save their souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins. Receive them into the family of God today and let the heavens open unto them.
CLOSING PRAYER
For those of us who are your children, those of us who know without any doubt that we are children of destiny, please Lord God Almighty, let our day come today. Let the heavens open to us and we will all praise You forever. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed, Amen!
Praise the Lord. Hallelujah!
