Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 21 April 2023 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Fear Not (V)

TOPIC: Fear Not (V) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 21 April 2023)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Kings 18, 2 Kings 19, 2 Kings 20, Matthew 11, Matthew 12

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:25-34 (KJV)

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought  for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

MEMORY VERSE: “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” – Matthew 6:34

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
BE NOT DISMAYED. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

The biggest and the most dangerous fear you must avoid is the fear of the unknown or fear of uncertainly, Often, people trouble themselves with the question “what next?” A man of God was counselling an old man many years back. He told the old man to surrender his life to Jesus and join a Bible believing church. The Old man told the man of God that he could not attend his church because there is no burial ground there where he would be buried when he dies. The man of God told him to die first and forget about where he would be buried.

Also Read:

Beloved, can you see the level of that fear? A living person was afraid of surrendering his lite to Jesus just because of the fear of where and how he would be buried. Many people are afraid of what will happen next. For example, mere seeing three to four vehicles in a filling station will throw some people into panic buying of petrol. Many houses and properties have been destroyed by fire because of petrol that was stored houses and shops. Matthew 6:34 warns that you should not worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will take care of itself. Worrying about tomorrow is a time waster. The person who worries about tomorrow is consumed by fear and finds it difficult to trust God. Such a person may make mistakes that will interfere with his or her relationship with God.

Rejection is another reason why people fear. In Exodus 4:1, Moses’ fear was caused by worrying about how the people might respond to him. We often panic over what might go wrong. Moses gave a lot of excuses why he could not go to Egypt to deliver his people. He was afraid of being rejected by the people. God will not ask you to do something or go where He has not provided the means to help. Trust Him to supply courage and resources at the right moment.

PRAYER POINTS:

  1. I shall reach my goal in life, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Every mountain of problem challenging my destiny, become plain, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  3. I bind and cast out the spirit of fear and its torment, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. You Pharaoh, saying no to my deliverance, die, in the name of Jesus.
  2. I shall not die but live, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  3. I shall walk in victory all the days of my live, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  4. I recover every good thing that the spirit of fear has stolen from my life, in the name of Jesus.
