Discipline: Key To Stardom

Ecclesiastes 10:16-17 -Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!

Discipline is becoming a law to yourself. It is the efficient management of time, energy and resources at your disposal. Your level of discipline will determine how your star will rise. Discipline will make you to do what you naturally hate to do.
1Corinthians 9:24-27 – Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

If you want to be a star, you must discipline yourself even in your taste. You cannot be a star if you lack discipline. High-level discipline is the secret for the making of any star. As a student, you must discipline yourself to read. Discipline is operating as demanded, not as convenient.
You must be disciplined not to buy clothes on credit as such things do not have second-hand value. Avoid impulse buying; plan yourself and do not go about borrowing clothes to wear and impress people that do not even like you.

Your lifestyle defines your future-style; if you do not have a serious approach to life, you will not have a glorious result at the end. Indiscipline is a trap of the enemy; do not fall into it.
1Corinthians 6:12 – All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Discipline is a deliberate choice to go for the profitable instead of the acceptable. Be determined to choose the profitable over the acceptable. It takes discipline to be accomplished in life. It is very important to define your life by taking responsibility; don’t sell off your future with an irresponsible lifestyle. You are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life. David Ibiyeomie – 3 Things God does when you Praise Him!
