listening must take place for growth to occur.
Unfortunately, listening to God is a skill that
doesn’t come naturally for most people. Everyday distractions might account for some of the difficulties. But often your ability to listen will be determined in part by the attitude you carry into your conversations with Him. Your mind-set can be affected by your prior relationship with God, your understanding about God, and your feelings toward Him. The result is that you might be predisposed to hearing certain things from Him and not hearing other things.
