Topic: You  build faith in God by recalling
past victories.

How can you gain that kind of faith? One way is by recalling past victories. David was a shepherd who had defended his sheep from attacks by wild
animals.

He had witnessed God deliver him from both the paw of the lion and the grasp of the bear (see 1 Samuel 17:32–37).

David first won the spiritual victory in his mind. In the same way, you need to
overcome feelings of fear and doubt by focusing on the truth of God’s Word.
