Bless Those Around You (By Joyce Meyer)
Have you ever thought about what an encouraging word, a compliment or words of appreciation mean to others? We all need to be encouraged, complimented, and appreciated sometimes. And our words and actions can have a major impact on the people around us.
Bless Those Around You (By Joyce Meyer)
First Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP) encourages us to “be thankful and continually give thanks to God.” And one of the ways we can express our thankfulness to God “continually” is to bless others. We show appreciation to God for all He has done for us by giving to someone else, and then He blesses us more, so we can do it all over again.
This Week’s Scripture:
“…You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35 NLT
Tip from Joyce
“It’s natural to want to be blessed, but we can actually learn to enjoy blessing others even more than we do being blessed.” – Joyce Meyer, I Dare You.
Study Suggestion:
Start developing a list of things you hear others say that they want or need. Then pray and ask God to show you how you can meet that need.
