Wisdom For The Day Devotional 3 March 2023 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo: The Word Upholds Everything

TOPIC: The Word Upholds Everything (TREM Devotional 3 March 2023)

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his Person and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)

Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:

Do you know that all things are upheld by the Word of God? That is testimony to the efficacy of the Word. Everything is held up by the Word. By implication, if the Word is taken out, everything will de-materialize. Everything will fall apart. That is how important the Word is. So, I challenge you today that: if there is anything you should anchor your life on, it is in the Word. Our warfare today is the warfare of sticking to the Word.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”. (2 Corinthians. 10:3-5 NKJV). You see that! Our warfare today is the warfare of standing in God’s Word. No matter what comes against you, no matter what bombards you, no matter the pressure you are going through; and no matter how hopeless the situation is, the warfare is to stand on the Word. The Word upholds all things. The Word has the capacity to give you victory over all issues of life. Stand on the Word, knowing that God hastens his Word to perform it.

No matter how impossible it looks, just believe in the Word. The onus is on He who spoke the Word to bring it to pass. Your part is to stand. Stand on what God has spoken. Follow every instruction He gives. Get addicted to it! Meditate on it! Act on it! The Word is powerful enough to bring a change in every area of your life.
