Wisdom For The Day Devotional 24 July 2023 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo: You Are Not Limited

TOPIC: You Are Not Limited (TREM Devotional 24 July 2023)

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:

My concern these days is when the born-again and spirit-filled Christians get to function like the world, react like the world, and talk like the world. Sometimes when you hear some believers talk, you ask yourself where is the God that they serve. If you talk like the world talks, where is the evidence of your salvation? Who wants to come to your God when you are anxious and stressed up like the world? Then you are not different from them.

Let me announce to you that the God we serve has not gone on vacation. He has not gone to bed. He has not fallen from His throne. He is still the Almighty God. There is nothing that is happening today in the world that takes God unawares. Jesus said to us in the book of John 16:33: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 KJV). Christ has overcome the world and deprived the world of the power to hurt you. When you understand this, you cannot be overwhelmed. As born-again believers, we can overcome everything that the world brings against us. That is what being born again is all about. It is not a religious exercise that happened. And it is not a ritual. We can draw strength and resources from the realm of the spirit to help us navigate our lives here in this physical realm

Until you are born again, you can’t see the resources, and you cannot enter into them. Therefore, there is a need to be reborn because there are resources that those who are not born again cannot draw from. A natural man does not understand the things of the Spirit, neither can he draw from the Spirit. But a person of the Spirit is not limited. No believer is limited! The problem is ignorance!
