God, through Jesus Christ, has delivered us from Satan’s power. “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us fromthe power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (Colossians 1:12–13).
God has delivered us fromthe authority of Satan. That is not something we need to ask God to do for us. He has already
done it! It is an eternal truth. “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ…. and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power…. Having
disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over themin it” (Colossians 2:8, 10, 15).

Many times we try to win the battles of life with philosophy or the traditions of men. Jesus has spoiled the principalities and powers, and if we will believe Satan has no
power over us, we will reign through Jesus instead of giving into defeat.
