TOPIC: BEWARE OF CONVETOUSNESS
SCRIPTURE: I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. Acts 20:33.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you refuse to covet what belongs to others, God will give you what belongs to you.
Apostle Paul, a man greatly used by God in the Scriptures was a man of notable character. He walked in the realm of signs and wonders and had access to great mysteries and revelations concerning the Kingdom of God. By such mysteries, he wrote almost half of the books in the New Testament.
Now, one secret of Apostle Paul was a character of contentment. Paul did not covet anybody’s gold or silver.
In Acts 20:33, Paul said:
I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
This means that he did not take whatever was not his, neither did he covet it.
In 1 Thessalonians 2:10, Paul also said:
Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe.
That was why he said in Philippians 4:19:
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
In the 18th verse of the same scripture above, Paul made us to understand that he had all and abounded. Paul had everything he needed; he lacked nothing. That was the testimony of a man who coveted nobody’s silver, gold or apparel.
Beloved, you must understand that when you refuse to covet what belongs to others, God will give you what belongs to you.
Make a decision today never to covet people’s properties. Focus on what God has in store for you, and your portion will locate you in Jesus Name.
REMEMBER THIS: When you refuse to covet what belongs to others, God will give you what belongs to you.

QUOTE: When you are tainted by guilt, there are times you will want to make certain decrees and the devil will say, “Shut up! Remember what you did last time!” Please do not allow anything to tamper with your spiritual audacity.

DAILY READING: 1 Kings 17-19.
AMAZING FACT: Bull Elephants (males) can grow up to 13 feet tall at the shoulders, measure up to 30 feet from trunk to tail, and weigh up to 14,000 pounds. Perhaps that explains why Elephants are the ONLY mammals that cannot jump!
DECLARATION/WORD:
Grace to be full of contentment and empty of covetousness be released for you in Jesus’ Name.
