SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE
THURSDAY 2ND MAY, 2024
TOPIC: THE CHOICE TO LIVE OR DIE
SCRIPTURE: Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
PROVERBS 18:21.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You live or die by your tongue.
Our anchor Scripture reveals that the choice to live or die lies in the tongue. You live or die by your tongue. The choice is yours.
Please look at the way the Living Bible renders Proverbs 18:21:
Those who love to talk will suffer the consequences. Men have died for saying the wrong thing!
The power to live or die is rooted in the tongue. There are people who died before their time because of their words, and not because the devil was too powerful. They used wrong words to kill themselves before their time.
There are many people already in the grave who are supposed to be doing great things for God, but their lives were cut short by their wrong use of words. You shall not cut your life short by your words, in Jesus’ Name.
Sometime ago, I read a story about the wife of John G. Lake. In a revelation, this woman died and saw herself in heaven. Then the angel of the LORD said to her, “Welcome to the holy mountain of God! Welcome to heaven”
Surprised, she asked, “Is this place heaven? Am I in heaven? Who will take care of my husband and children? No! I am not dying now.” And immediately, she came back to life.
Can you imagine that? Even in heaven, she had a choice to live.
Today, I decree that every death looking for you is cancelled in Jesus Name!
Beloved, make the choice to speak life, not death; good only, not evil; and positivity, not negativity.
REMEMBER THIS: You live or die by your tongue.
ASSIGNMENT;
1. Don’t use your tongue to bring disaster to yourself.
2. Use your tongue positively and productively. Use your tongue to speak life.
PRAYER: Lord, I make the choice for life. I decree that I shall not die but live to fulfil my days, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: In the face of trouble, speak. I am sure you have read in the Bible, that God rested from His work on the seventh day. What did He work? Did He lift blocks? No! He only talked. Talk is work. If you are not talking, you are not working. But you must be saying the right thing. Culled from the book, “15 Kingdom Strategies for Survival” by Paul Enenche.
DAILY READING: Job 22-24.
AMAZING FACT: Your heart beats about 100,000 times in a single day.
PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION): Every spirit of premature death looking for you is arrested now, in Jesus’ Name.
