TOPIC: CHANNELS OF DIVINE HEALING AND HEALTH.
SCRIPTURE: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 JOHN 1:2.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Divine health is not a wish; it is the will of God. And if God wills it, no devil can un-will it.
It is crystal clear from our anchor Scripture that God does not only want you saved or redeemed; He also wants you to be in good health and prosperity. So, divine health is not a wish; it is the will of God. And if God wills it, no devil can un-will it.
The real question is not whether God wants us to be healthy. The question is: why are many believers not living in divine health consistently? And the answer is simple: every scriptural provision comes with conditions. Salvation has conditions. Prosperity has conditions. Healing and health also have conditions.
These conditions are what we have grouped together as secrets and channels of Divine healing and health, and this will be our focus in today’s study.
Now, what are the secrets and channels of Divine healing and health?
1. The life of uprightness.
The Bible says, He that breaketh the hedge, the serpent will bite (Ecclesiastes 10:8). Where life is not upright, it is open to affliction. Uprightness is a hedge of protection, but transgression invites afflictions. When the hedge is broken, attacks find easy access.
2. A merry heart and a praiseful life. A merry heart doeth good like medicine (Proverbs 17:22). You cannot be healthy if you are not happy. Chronic unhappiness is a foundation for unhealthiness. Praise is spiritual therapy.
3. A steady diet of the Word of God. He sent His Word and healed them (Psalm 107:20). The deficiency of the Word causes the deficiency of health. If the Word is scarce, health will struggle.
4. The right confession.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). What you say affects how you fare. Your mouth can either sustain sickness or sustain health.
5. Vibrant faith in God (Mark5:34) Faith does not just heal, it makes whole. Wholeness is higher than healing.
6. A heart of forgiveness. Forgiveness is at the root of health. Bitterness in the heart translates into sickness in the body. Hebrews 12:15 says, Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
7. Positive vision. Proverbs 23:7 says, As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
Beloved, it is impossible to consistently imagine sickness and suddenly arrive at health. What you dwell on determines where you dwell eventually. Positive vision equals positive portion.
Dodie Osteen was given six weeks to live in 1983. Instead of rehearsing death, she rehearsed the Word. She placed before herself a picture of her healthy self via the scripture. She refused the image of sickness. She lived for over thirty years after that diagnosis by the power of vision.
Beloved, vision is like a snail; destiny is like its shell. Wherever vision moves, destiny must follow.
Remember this: Divine health is not a wish; it is the will of God. And if God wills it, no devil can un-will it.

1. Build a strong positive vision of health and enforce it with the Word daily.
2. Examine your lifestyle and make appropriate adjustments where necessary.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for your scriptural provisions for me to live in Divine health and wholeness. I receive the grace to apply the necessary conditions to living a healthy life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
