SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR PASTOR PAUL
DATE: SATURDAY 28TH MARCH, 2026
TOPIC: THE WEALTH MANTLE

SCRIPTURE: But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 8:18
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God entrusts wealth to those whose vision extends beyond self.
Our anchor scripture makes it clear that God is the source of true wealth. He is both the Owner of wealth and the Giver of wealth. Psalm 24:1 says, The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof.
God owns wealth, and He empowers men to access it. While some people are empowered by dark systems or natural principles, there is a dimension of wealth known as God-given wealth—the wealth of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, and Solomon, etc.
Today, we shall be looking at some of the forces that activate the wealth mantle. This is necessary because it takes financial dominion to impact our generation for God and saturate the earth with kingdom principles.
What then are the forces that activate the wealth mantle?
1. The Force of Affection for and Dedication to God
Matthew 6:33 says, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Seeking God first is not a religious talk, it is a spiritual positioning. 2Chronicles 26:5 tells us about King Uzziah: As long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper. True prosperity follows the pursuit of God.
2. The Force of Kingdom Vision. Wealth follows purpose.
David demonstrated kingdom vision when he vowed not to rest until he found a habitation for God. His heart was set on God’s House, and heaven responded.
Isaiah 45:3 declares, “I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places.”
God entrusts wealth to those whose vision extends beyond self.
3. The Force of the Covenant (of Supernatural Supply)
Genesis 8:22 establishes the law of seedtime and harvest.
If there is seed, there must be harvest. 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 teaches that cheerful, purposeful giving activates all-sufficiency and abundance. And Acts 20:35 reminds us that it is more blessed to give than to receive.
The covenant guarantees supply to those who honour God with their substance.
4. The Force of the Blessing
Proverbs 10:22 says, The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.
Genesis 12:2–3 reveals that God blessed Abraham so he could become a blessing. Anything that activates blessing—parental blessings, priestly blessings, generosity to the poor—triggers the wealth mantle. Psalm 41:1–2 declares that the one who considers the poor will be preserved, kept alive, and blessed upon the earth.
5. The Force of Diligence
Deuteronomy 28:8 says the Lord commands blessing on the work of your hands. Proverbs 10:4 warns that laziness leads to poverty, but diligence produces wealth.
God blesses the works of your hands. The wealth mantle is attracted to faithful labour.
6. The Force of Wisdom (Good Management)
Proverbs 21:20 teaches that treasure resides in the dwelling of the wise. Solomon excelled in wealth because he excelled in wisdom. Wealth moves toward good managers, those who plan, budget, invest, keep records, and eliminate waste.
Wisdom sustains wealth.
7. The Force of Joy and Praise
Psalm 67:6 says, Then shall the earth yield her increase.
Praise precedes increase. Thanksgiving leads to multiplication and glory. When praise rises, limitation collapses, and increase is released (Jeremiah 30:19).
Remember this: God entrusts wealth to those whose vision extends beyond self.
