LESSON AIM: To let the teens know who is the King of Glory.

STUDY GUIDE
1. What does it means to know?
The dictionary defines knowing as having knowledge or awareness of something that is secret or known to only a few people. This is indeed true about God because not many people know Him. Are you one of them?
2. Who is the king of glory?
The LORD Jesus is the king of Glory. He is the Lord of hosts.
3. How can you know God?”
a. You have to be deliberate and passionate about knowing Him -Jer. 29:13
b. The first step is to receive Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Saviour.
c. Grow in your relationship with Him by readying the scriptures daily. Ps.119:105.
d. You cannot claim to have a relationship with someone when you do not talk to him. Talk to God everyday in prayers.
e. Joshua 1:8. The more you talk about God, the better you are in relationship with Him. So, talk about the God that you serve.
DISCUSSION: Discuss practical ways of how we can improve on our knowledge of the King of Glory with the teens.
INVITATION/APPLICATION: Emulate what the Berean Christian did in Acts 17:11
CONCLUSION: Jesus has been given all authorities in heaven and on earth. Matt.28:18. He invites you to seek Him with all your heart. He wants you to know Him even more deeply. The most important thing you can know in life is knowing who Jesus is. Not what someone says He is, but knowing Him personally, having a relationship with Him.
PRAYER: Lord, I bless you for you are the King of Glory.

Sunday School Hymn
- O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
O how I love Thee well,
I am happy, it makes me glad
To rejoice at Thy birth. - O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Thy friend friendship suits me well,
Both young and old will sing Thy song,
We long for Sunday School. - O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Christ was Thy first teacher,
The Holy Spirit, great teacher,
Does manifest in thee. - O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
This testimony is sure,
That God, the Father Almighty,
Poured His blessing on Thee. - O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Though the sun be so bright,
Or if the clouds be black with rain,
I’ll be in Sunday School. - O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
I rejoice to see Thee,
Will thou pass over me today?
Without my being blest?
