BIBLE TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 2: 7-8

Let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Several years ago – At least over thirty (30) years ago; there was a Wedding in one of our Churches in Lagos.

They were in the Vestry Signing the Register – The husband had Signed and the wife about to Sign, then Somebody called the husband – Only the husband heard. He answered and dropped down and died,

So, there was Confusion, Fear, Embarrassment – Just like the Testimony you heard on Day 4 when they were doing the Christening of a child and the mother suddenly died.

And so, in the Vestry; everybody began to Pray – 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 20 Minutes, 30 Minutes.

Then the Lead Pastor remembered that I taught them something long ago – That when Prayers don’t work, try Praise! And so they began to Praise God.

The Lead PaStor went into the Church and told the People that we are coming- And by now, everybody was wondering ‘what are they Signing?’

And everybody began to Worship God – You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Unchangeable Changer and there is Nothing that You cannot do.

And suddenly, the Groom sneezed and said: What am I doing on the floor? They said that when you get up, we shall tell you.

Tonight, Somebody is about to be Repositioned from: Death to Life; from Sorrow to Joy; from Embarrassment to Testimony.

If you are that Fellow – I want you to Praise God as if you don’t know any other thing to do.

Praise Him as if your Life depends on it and as you have never done before. Because tonight He is about to Reposition Somebody.

Tonight Father, do what You alone can do.

At the end of everything, let Your Name be Magnified.

SPECIAL PRAYER FOR THE DECEMBER BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS

If you are Born in the Month of December, let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

My Father and my God, I commit Your Children born in the Month of December into Your Hands.

December is the Last Month of the Year – In every areas of the Lives of Your Children; Complete their Miracles.

Make their Testimonies Complete, give them a New Beginning – A New Beginning of Joy, of Success, of Progress, of Promotion, of Anointing and of a Desire to serve You.

And let it be well with them.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Once again, those of you born in the Month of December, let me hear you shout another Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

BIRTH REPORT

The number of children born since the beginning of the Congress has risen to thirty eight (38).

And the boys maintained their Lead – Twenty one (21) Boys and Seventeen (17) Girls.

So, let the Boys shout Praise the Lord!

And the Girls shout Hallelujah!

 

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. By 31st of December 2023, there will be a “Cross Over Service” here at The RCCG Redemption City of God by the Grace of God.

But as usual, you are free to hold your Services in your various Churches because there are some People who come to Church once a Year on the 31st of December – So, keep your Church open so that they can come in!

I. But for those of us around here, there will be “Holy Communion Service” by 7pn – The Last Holy Communion Service for the Year!

II. That will be followed by a “Service of Song” by our Extraordinary Good Choir – The best in the world.

3. Incidentally, the Audio Engineers have done very well during this Congress; including the Electrical Department.

4. In the Month of January 2024; the Holy Ghost Service for that Month will take Place on the 5th of January 2024.

You may wonder why I’m talking of Year 2024 now?

It is because whether the devil likes it or not; you will see Next Year (2024).

And we will be starting a New Series entitled: “FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP”.

And so, by the time I see you in January 2024, you will be on the Mountain Top,

Tell your Neighbours: I will see you at the Top – Amen!!!

5. Next week Sunday (17th December 2023) in all your Churches, hold a Special Thanksgiving Service for the Success of the Congress.

My family and I will hold our Thanksgiving this week Sunday (10th December 2023) here at the Redemption City of God.

6. This Saturday (Day 6) of this Congress continues with the Youths Coordinating all the affairs.

And the Lord will do Mighty Things among them in Jesus’ Mighty Name – Amen!

I have Good News for you – I asked Daddy, if You don’t mind, how many People are you Healing tonight?

He said: Son, they will be difficult to count and so get ready as the Almighty God is going to Surprise you tonight!

Our Ministrations today will be in three (3) small Parts:

Part 1 – We will be talking about Divine Repositioning. And this will lead us to a Period of Prayer.

Part 2 – Then there will be a brief Talk to lead us to Holy Communion Service.

Part 3 – And after that, a brief Talk that will lead us to Anointing Service.

After that, we will give you an opportunity to ask God for your Christmas Present.

Then like I told you yesterday – Then we shall see what we shall see!

And like that Young Man said (Referring to Pastor Leke Adeboye) – “Somebody go catch am”. And the One wey you no catch, “God go dash you”.

1 Samuel 2: 7-8

7 The LORD maketh Poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

8 He raiseth up the Poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among Princes, and to make them inherit the Throne of Glory: for the Pillars of the Earth are the Lord’s, and He hath set the world upon them.

PART 1: DIVINE REPOSITIONING

Position matters – Position matters a lot!

The head is better than the tail. That’s is why Deuteronomy 28:13 says, And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath;

… Position matters!

How Important Is It To Be Head? You would understand that by when they want your Picture for your Passport, all they want to see is the Picture of your head. They don’t bother about the rest of the body.

That tells you how important the head is.

I am decreeing to everyone of you here today, including all those who are reading now  (Young and Old) – In the Name that’s above every other name, you shall be head – Amen.

To be First is better than to be Last:

When the President is passing through, there’s never anything called traffic jam. The road will be clear.

If a Messenger is passing by, the story can be different.

When you read Genesis 41:1-43, it tells us the Story of how Joseph (overnight) was Repositioned and he became Prime Minister.

The King (Pharaoh) said that there will be an Advance Guard when he (Joseph) is coming – Just tell everybody, bow down! Clear the way for him.

As the One who sent me is alive, from now on when you travel, Angels will clear the way for you – Amen.

On the other hand, if you are an Ordinary Servant: if instead of being the head you are the tail, you can even do something that is right and be punished for it.

Joseph was just a Slave, what he did was right but the wife of the Master lied against him.

Who is the Master going to believe? His wife or the Ordinary Slave?

… That is why the fellow who was below ended up in Prison.

From tonight onwards, your Position would be the one that the Almighty God would give unto you – Amen.

To let you know how important Position is, Amos 3:3 says only People who understand themselves can walk together – “Birds of the same feather flock together.”

When the incurable is cured, the one who has been cured would leave the Company of the incurable.

In John 5:1-14, immediately the man who had been at the Pool of Bethesda for thirty eight (38) was healed, he left the Company of the sick and never returned there.

In the Name that’s above every other name – I am talking by the Power of God; Someone here or reading now on the Label of DMC will never sleep in an Hospital bed again – Amen.

Position matters! If Someone is Mad, he’s not likely to stay in the Company of those who are sane.

If he is truly truly mad, they Probably would send him to an Asylum.

But when the Captive is set free, he would return to a different Category of People.

In Daniel 4 (you can read the whole Story – When Nebuchadnezzar became mad, nobody told him to go and join the animals; he went Voluntarily. But when God had Mercy on him and his senses were restored, he returned back to the Palace: because Position matters!

When a sinner is truly saved; if you are Genuinely saved, you will want to be in the Company of those who are saved.

In Acts 9:1-30, when Saul of Tarsus got saved, he looked for Someone who would help him to join the Company of Christians.

That is why the Bible says if you are truly Born Again, you cannot be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Why? Because Position matters!

NOW, IT TAKES GOD TO REPOSITION SOMEBODY.

We have dealt with many of these cases from Monday:

1. It takes God to take you from the Miry Clay and put you on the Rock to stay.

2. It takes the Almighty God to Reposition you from the Valley of Sorrow to the Mountain Top of Praises.

We told you the Story in Luke 7:11-15 – The Widow of Nain was in the very Valley of Sorrow and God intervened and moved her to someone who could wear the Garment of Praise for the rest of her Life.

In the Name that’s above every other name, there is Somebody here or reading now on the Label of DMC, who would never know sorrow again – Amen.

3. It takes God to take the Barren and Reposition her to a Level where she will have many children – 1 Samuel 2:21.

I thank God for all the Testimonies of children born Miraculously – Thank God for Twins and Triplets;

By this time next year (2024), in the Mighty Name of Jesus, there will be many more Twins and Triplets – Amen.

4. It takes God to Reposition you from being the one who is Pursued to become the one who is Pursuing your Pursuers (like we learnt yesterday).

Thank You Daddy!

The Lord asked me to tell somebody: You will never have cause to complain again – Amen.

He said, because I will surround your life with Wonders.

… I think that should be me too: So we better say Amen to that – Amen.

Thank You Father!

The Lord asked me to tell Someone who would join me – That your Blessing would be so Big, you will become a Blessing even to your Enemies – Amen.

5. It takes God to Reposition you from Total Failure to Super Success.

Like in Acts 5:14-16, we read about Peter there, whose Shadow was Healing the sick.

But at the beginning Peter was a Total Failure – He was a man who fished All-Night and caught nothing.

But God Repositioned him, he became the talk of the Town.

NOW, HOW DOES GOD DO REPOSITIONING?

How come God can Reposition anybody?

As we learnt on Wednesday – And Thank God for the Testimonies coming all over the world.

Ha! Thank You Father.

… The Lord asked me to tell you a Story, and then give you a Word for it:

Several years ago, I travelled to Seoul Korea to attend a Ministers’ Conference. I was about to sleep at Night in the Hotel and there was a Phone call:

“Is that Pastor Adeboye?. We have found your Passport.” I didn’t know my Passport was missing. Then I quickly checked and I found out, hey!

The Lord asked me to tell somebody: Your Miracle will arrive before you need it – Amen.

I. In Jeremiah 32:27, our God is the God of all Flesh, and there is Nothing too hard for Him.

II. And also, He is Sovereign.

Psalms 115:3 says, But our God is in the Heavens: He hath done whatsoever he hath Pleased.

You know, He told us on Wednesday, “I will heal, who can stop Me?” – He is the Sovereign One.

He is the “Original Majesty”.

And He is going to Reposition someone today, whether your enemy likes it or not – Amen.

III. He is also the Lord of Hosts (like we learnt yesterday).

There is no force anywhere that can stop Him.

That is why in the Bible Text that we read at the beginning in 1 Samuel 2:7-8; He can raise up one and bring down another. He can pick up a beggar from the dunghill and keep on raising him until he begins to sit among Princes.

… That is why He is the One Who can Reposition.

*So the Question now that came to my Mind when he gave me the Theme for this Year’s Congress – The Question I asked: I said Daddy you don’t have to answer me, you know! You are my Daddy and I am your favourite son:

WHY NOW? WHY IS IT NOW YOU WANT TO REPOSITION SOME PEOPLE?

And you know what He said? He said:

1. I have decided to do a New Thing.

You know the meaning of that? Your Life is about to take a New Turn (Amen).

Amen!

I say Congratulations to this fellow;

Because God says there’s Someone here today or reading now on the Label of DMC, in your family there would be no more “Wasted Lives” – Amen.

Thank You Father.

In Isaiah 43:19, the Almighty God says Behold, I will do a New Thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the Wilderness, and Rivera in the desert.

You know it is in the time of Hardship, that is when God likes to Prove himself.

I rejoice with those of you who are “True Children” of God – As God lives, you would soon be rejoicing – Amen.

2. Another Question that you may want to ask – Because when God is talking of Repositioning, first as soon as I heard it I said, “I hope I am included?”

He also said He is doing it Now:

Because there are some People whose Miracles can no longer wait – A day too late, it will be too late.

You know the Story of the Widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17:8-16 – If help had not come at that crucial moment, it would have been too late.

That is why I rejoiced when I heard God say that Help is coming rapidly towards somebody. (Amen)

Thank You Father.

The Almighty God wants me to tell Someone here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; Concerning the Miracle you are waiting for, no more waiting – Amen.

So we come to the Question: WHO NEEDS REPOSITIONING?

No matter where you are, God can take you higher still.

You remembered the Story of David?

He was a Shepherd Boy:

– But God Repositioned him and he was anointed King before his Brethren.

– Then he was Repositioned to the Cave of Adullam and a lot of People in distress gathered themselves together to him. The Bible says, he became Captain.

– Then he was Repositioned higher and he became the King of Judah.

– And he was Repositioned higher and he became the King of Israel.

– He was Repositioned higher and became the Father of the King of Kings.

So, it doesn’t matter how Great you think you are, God can take you higher still – Amen.

By the time I see you in January 2024; you will not be where you are now – Amen.

– You can go from Sick to Healed;

– Healed to Whole;

– From Whole to a Healing Vessel (Healing others).

– You can move from somebody who heals by touching and move on to a Level where your Handkerchiefs will do the Healing.

– You can go from that even to a Stage where your Shadow will be Healing the Sick.

– You can move from Destitute to Comfortable.

– You can move from Comfortable to Rich.

– You can move from Rich to Wealthy.

– You can move from Wealthy to Prosperous.

– You can move from Prosperous to Flourishing.

In the Name that’s above every other name, no matter how high you are today, God will Reposition you higher – Amen.

WHAT WILL GOD REQUIRE OF ME TO BE REPOSITIONED TONIGHT?

God is Sovereign, He does as He Pleases. But He is not arbitrary: everything He does, He does for a reason.

1. He looks at the Heart – He knows your Heart.

In Genesis 12:1-3, Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy Country, and from thy Kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a Land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a Great Nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name Great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the Earth be blessed.

What has Abraham done? Why did God just pick him out of the crowd to Reposition him? – God knew!

The God who knows the end from the beginning knew that, “one day when I ask this same Abram to give me a son, Isaac, the only son that he loves, he will not deny me”.

God knew in advance that Abraham is going to be His friend.

He knows you – He knows that if He Prospers you, you will serve Him with the money.

Is that correct?

He knows that if He Promotes you, when you get to the Position, you wont forget Him.

… He knows your heart!

2. He knows Tomorrow from even Yesterday.

When He decided to relocate or Change the Position of David, He said, “I have found a man who will do My Will (Acts 13:21-22).

God knows who will be Grateful after He has been Repositioned.

He knew what he was doing when he chose Solomon to be King – He knew he will return to say, Thank You.

3. Not only does He choose People because of the intent of the Heart;

He also Rewards those who are Diligent.

Proverbs 22:29 says, Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

And Hebrews 11:6 says: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

He knows your Heart, He knows what you will do in the future. He knows you want to serve Him, only you don’t have the means and Position. Hence, He wants to Reposition you.

4. Of course He Answers Prayers.

Matthew 7:7-8, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

So Somebody is going to ask God tonight, “Father, Reposition me and i will show you the kind of Good boy, Good girl I can be.

Who will He Reposition?

The one who has a correct Heart; who is determined to serve God, and say “Lord, Reposition me and watch and see”.

He is looking for those who will diligently seek Him.

He is ready to reposition those who will be hard working.

You know, one of my daughters was sharing a Testimony, that if you knock at a door, many doors would be open.

… I am not saying, “thus saith the Lord now” I am just decreeing:

Because you are here tonight or reading

;you too will knock at one door and many doors will be open unto you – Amen!

But that is going to mean hard work.

Because He is not going to Reposition a lazy fellow – The lazy fellow will remain lazy.

A friend of mine was talking the other day – He said there is a saying that “Power corrupts, absolute Power corrupts absolutely.”

He said he doesn’t believe that.

He said, what Power does is that if you are already corrupt, Power gives you the opportunity to show it.

You want God to Reposition you and Place you on a higher level?

What are you going to do when you get there?

He answers Prayers and He honours Faith.

According to Mark 9:23, if you believe that God is going to Reposition you tonight, He will do it.

If you believe that the man talking to you now has not been lying;

By the grace of God from all the Testimonies, People kept on saying, “Daddy said…” It is not Daddy saying, it’s Daddy speaking what God has told him.

I thank God for the Testimony of the man who said, he heard that the blood has stopped.

How do I know Somebody is bleeding? But God knows and he told me and I passed it through.

The same God told me that tonight, He will heal so many it will be difficult to count them – Amen.

The same God told me that Last Month thar, we must pull down all Walls -All Mountains must come down to Prepare the way for tonight.

The same God who when He speaks, it is done is saying tonight, You cry to Him in Faith: He will Reposition you tonight – Amen!

Are you ready to Pray?

SPECIAL PRAYER POINTS:

You may want to write down your Prayer Points:

1. You want to Thank God that He made it Possible for you to be here because by the time you will be leaving this Holy City; you will be a “Different Person” entirely.

2. You will say: Father, make me a “Healing Vessel” and I will heal the Sick for You Free of Charge.

I want to go beyond being Healed and made Whole but to become a “Healimg Vessel”.

3. Father, let me Flourish Lord; and I will be Your Treasurer,

4. Father, Promote me and I will use the Position to serve You.

5. Father, Increase Your Anointing upon me and I will rescue those who are Perishing,

6. Father, give me All-Round Repositioning and I will give You all the Glory.

7. This is your own Private Prayer Points – If there are Particular Sections of your Life that you need God to attend to Speedily.

You have 15 Minutes to Pray!

The Altar is Open – Come and Pray with Faith Diligently!

And within the next 15 Minutes, God will do something you don’t Dream Possible!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

So shall it be in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

DECREES:

God will answer your Prayers!

He will Reposition you!

He will give you All-Round Repositioning!

And when He has done it, you will not fail Him.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PART 2: THE HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE

Thank you Jesus.

Now, the Greatest Divine Repositioning Probably took Place in Exodus 12:1-36 – You can read the whole Chapter.

That was when God Repositioned a whole Nation in one Night.

They had been in bondage for four hundred and thirty (430) years; and then one Night God said, the time has come.

And I am decreeing for you and your family, your Village, your Town, even your Nation tonight; the time has come – Amen.

1. When God Repositioned Israel, He Reposition them from Poverty to Wealth.

The Bible tells us they were overloaded with Wealth because the enemy was saying, hey! Go quickly.

As the Lord lives, Someone here tonight listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC, your family will never know Poverty again – Amen.

How is God going to do it? I don’t know! I am only speaking on behalf of the Most High.

2. They were Repositioned from Bondage to Freedom.

Some of you will Testify that before you got home from the Congress (2023) the number one enemy of your family is gone – Amen.

3. They were Repositioned from Sickness to Health.

The Bible says when they left, the aches, the pains and lashes of the Egyptians had vanished.

I am saying it one more time: In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, there is Someone here or reading now on the Label of DMC, who would never sleep in an Hospital bed again – Amen.

4. They were Repositioned from Sorrow to Joy.

… And you won’t know Sorrow again – Amen.

That Night they had a Meal; that Meal has become the Foundation for what we call the Holy Communion.

This is a Night when God is going to Reposition People (Amen) – That is why we want to have the Holy Communion.

When they serve you the Holy Communion tonight, take this Meal by Faith, that by tomorrow Morning you yourself will know that you have been Repositioned.

So the Pastors would come and attend to you.

When you take the Bread, just be Thanking God that your time has come at last to be free from aches and pains.

When they serve you the Wine, you wait till we have all been served, and then we would Pray to together.

In the meantime, the Choir would continue to Minister and the Pastors would continue to serve the Bread.

ADMINISTERING THE HOLY COMMUNION:

The Lord Jesus Christ, the very night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is My Body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen.

… Go ahead and eat the bread – and continue to Thank God.

Thank you.

Shall we Please, Stand!

When you drink the Wine tonight, your Prayer would be: Father, let this be a Signal to Heaven that my time has come at Last.

After the same manner also He took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the New Testament in My Blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Amen.

… Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God.

Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

So shall it be, in Jesus’ Name.

And as the Almighty God lives, concerning your Repositioning, there would be no more waiting – Amen.

PART 3: ANOINTING SERVICE

We have come to the Anointing Service;

When you look at the Story of Peter, you will see that the first time he had a Divine Repositioning was in Luke 5:11 – That was when he fished all Night and caught Nothing.

And Jesus came into his boat, and in one throw he caught more than enough fish for his boat.

Then the Lord said to him “from now on you will no longer catch fish, you will be catching men.”

But then years later, he nearly went back to his former Position.

He said to his Brethren in John 21, I-go-fishing. We wanted to go back to where God has already Promoted us from.

Fortunately, Jesus intervened.

But then something happened on the Day of Pentecost – The Fire of the Holy Spirit came upon him. And from that day onwards, it was forward ever backward never.

So the Purpose of the Anointing Service tonight is for God to put a Seal upon your Repositioning; that things can only get better for you and never worse – Amen.

As soon as you come forward today and the Oil touches your head, your Prayer would be – In the Mighty Name of Jesus, from now on for me (The DMC Family Members) it will be forward ever and backward never.

… That is the Prayer you would Pray.

I will Anoint my wife; my wife will Anoint the Continental Officers and our Guests.

And then the Continental Officers will go and Anoint the Choir;

And The Pastors will go ahead and Anoint the Congregation.

From now one: forward ever, backward never – Amen.

Band, you are doing a great job. Over to you now!

THANKSGIVING

Let’s take our Thanksgiving Offering; Let us say Thank You to the Almighty God for what He has already done.

Has anyone been blessed tonight? Yes, for The DMC Family Members!

If you have been Blessed, let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

Now, my Father and my God, I can’t Thank You enough for what You have done tonight:

For the Healings, for the Deliverances, for Reposition Your Children, for a Brand New Beginning.

Father, accept our Thanks, in Jesus’ Name.

My Daddy, as I Wave my hands by the Power of the Holy Spirit; let Your Anointing flow to all Pieces of Clothes lifted up to You now.

I am Praying that wherever these Handkerchiefs are waved, ways will open Mightly.

Wherever these Handkerchief are used, Divine Favour, Divine Support, Divine Promotion, give to Your children in Jesus’ Name.

Daddy, I hereby decree that for all these Your Children, from today onwards it will be forward ever and backward never!

The way You alone can do it – The way You turned a Piece of jungle to this City (The Redemption City); Surprise all Your Children.

Before the New Year, give Your Children something to Shout about.

Before the Middle of Next Year (2024) let everybody begin to ask Your Children, “how are you doing?”

All those who have gone before them, let Your Children over take them all.

And Father, I am Praying especially for Your Ministers who have been Working – Praying Day and Night:

The Choir, the Ushers, the Engineers, the Media, the Sanitation Department, the People Cooking, the the Doctors, the Midwives and Nurses, the Security Department;

All these ones who have been working hard, before the New Year Reward them Specially.

Everyone of them and those I can’t even remember, Reposition them.

Every Ministries represented here today, Reposition them – Let them become Mighty.

All those who have come from over the World; by the time they get back to their Nations, let Revival break out.

My Father and my God, my own Christmas Present request is that: whatever these Your Children have asked, give to them all.

Give them More Than Sufficient: And then don’t let them forget their Father.

Bless this Offering, Sanctify it, Use it for Your Glory.

And I Pray that these Your Children will never borrow again!
