Topic: Season of Wonders’
Text: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Preacher: Pst. E.A. Adeboye
☆ To everything, there is a season.
• A wonder is a miracle so great, it’s almost unbelievable.
A miracle so great, it causes you to open your mouth in awe. Acts 3: 1-11
• A season is a time when certain things happen.
For example;
During rainy season, it rains
Deuteronomy 28:12
• A season of wonders is a period of time when wonders happen. Acts 2: 1-12
+ The wonder of the healing of the lame man. Acts 3: 1-11
+ Ananias and Sapphira. Acts 5: 1-16
+ Acts 8: 5-8
+ The wonder of supernatural deliverance from prison. Acts 12: 5-11, 16: 25-end
How long does a season last?
☆ It depends entirely on God.
• He is the Controller of times and seasons. Daniel 2: 20-21; Exodus 15:11
• He decides how long a season lasts. 2 Peter 3:8
☆ There is something better than the season of wonders.
THE GOD OF WONDERS HIMSELF
He is God all the time.
• If He is your friend, you can have wonders anytime and anywhere.
☆ Years ago, after I left my lecturing job to do the work of God, the Lord told me, “I will be your Source.”
So, if you see the glory of today, there’s a story behind it.
• If you don’t have the God of wonders, your season of wonders will be short.
If you have the God of wonders, your season of wonders will last forever. 1 Kings 17: 8-16
• Put God first, and you will enjoy blessings daily.
