## PART TWO: COMMENTARY FOR NSPPD MEMBERS
### Introduction: The Cry for Mercy
As we gather on this Wednesday, the 4th of March 2026, Pastor Jerry Eze directs our hearts to the most fundamental cry of the human soul: **MERCY**. The questions posed are penetrating:
**”Who are we without mercy?”** – Without mercy, we are defined by our failures, condemned by our mistakes, and overwhelmed by our shortcomings. Mercy is not an optional extra; it is essential to our identity and survival.
**”What is March without El-Roi’s mercy?”** – March may hold promises of breakthroughs, but without mercy, those promises remain unfulfilled. Mercy is the key that unlocks the doors of destiny. El-Roi—the God who sees—sees our need for mercy and responds.
### The Foundation: Mercy Never Fails
The declaration is bold and absolute: **”When everything else fails, mercy never fails.”**
– Human wisdom fails – but mercy never fails
– Physical strength fails – but mercy never fails
– Financial resources fail – but mercy never fails
– Friends and family may fail – but mercy never fails
– Health may fail – but mercy never fails
This is the anchor of our faith. When we have exhausted every other option, when we have tried every other path, when we have reached the end of ourselves—mercy is still there. Mercy never runs out. Mercy never gives up. Mercy never says “enough.”
### The Mercy Seat
Pastor Jerry Eze declares: **”We fall on the mercy seat for March and beyond.”**
The mercy seat was the covering of the Ark of the Covenant, where the blood of atonement was sprinkled. It was the place where God’s presence dwelt and where mercy was dispensed. In the New Covenant, Jesus Christ Himself is our mercy seat. Through His blood, we have access to mercy.
Falling on the mercy seat means:
– **Abandoning self-reliance** – Acknowledging that we cannot save ourselves
– **Appealing to God’s compassion** – Trusting in His character, not our deserving
– **Accepting His provision** – Receiving the mercy He has already provided
### For March and Beyond
The prayer covers not just this month but extends to “March and beyond.” Mercy is not seasonal; it is eternal. The mercy that sustains us in March will carry us through April, through the rest of 2026, and into all the years to come.

### Prayer 1: Acknowledgment of Need
Father, I come before You on this Wednesday, the 4th of March 2026, acknowledging that without mercy, I am nothing. Without mercy, my efforts are futile. Without mercy, my prayers are empty. I confess that I need Your mercy—not just today, but every day.
Lord, I am nothing without You. I have nothing that I did not receive. I can do nothing without Your enablement. I fall on Your mercy seat, not because I deserve Your attention, but because You are merciful.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
### Prayer 2: Mercy for March
Father, I cry out for mercy specifically for this month of March. What is March without Your mercy? Every plan I have made, every goal I have set, every dream I am pursuing—let mercy speak over them all.
Let mercy override every obstacle. Let mercy cancel every opposition. Let mercy open every closed door. Let mercy provide every needed resource. Let mercy heal every sickness. Let mercy restore every brokenness.
I receive mercy for March. I receive mercy for every day of this month.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
### Prayer 3: Mercy When Everything Else Fails
Father, I thank You that when everything else fails, mercy never fails. Human systems may fail me. Human relationships may disappoint me. Human strength may exhaust me. But mercy never fails.
When my wisdom runs out, mercy steps in. When my strength gives way, mercy carries me. When my resources are exhausted, mercy provides. When my hope is diminished, mercy restores.
I declare that I am standing on the mercy seat. I am resting in Your unfailing mercy.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
### Prayer 4: Mercy for Beyond March
Father, I pray not only for March but for the months beyond. Let the mercy I receive this month carry me through the rest of the year. Let the testimonies of March be the foundation for greater testimonies in April, May, June, and beyond.
I ask for mercy that abides, mercy that endures, mercy that sustains. Let Your mercy follow me all the days of my life.

### Prayer 5: Thanksgiving for Mercy
Father, I thank You because Your mercy endures forever. I thank You that mercy never fails. I thank You that I can always fall on the mercy seat. I thank You that El-Roi sees me and shows me mercy.
I thank You for past mercies—every time You spared me, every time You provided for me, every time You protected me. I thank You for present mercies—the grace I am experiencing right now. I thank You for future mercies—the provisions You have already prepared.
Thank You, Lord, for mercy.

**Psalm 136:1** – “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
**Lamentations 3:22-23** – “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
**Hebrews 4:16** – “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
**Exodus 34:6** – “And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.”

Father, we thank You for this Wednesday, the 4th of March 2026. We thank You for the privilege of gathering on the mercy seat.
Lord, we receive Your mercy today—for March, for beyond, for every day of our lives. Let mercy speak over us. Let mercy go before us. Let mercy follow us.
When everything else fails, we know that mercy never fails. We rest in that truth. We stand on that promise. We live by that grace.
OH LORD, SHOW US MERCY—and You have, and You are, and You will.
