# NSPPD Today: Wednesday – Furnace of Answers (Day 3) – Oh Lord, Show Me Mercy

## Introduction: Wednesdays Are for Mercy
Welcome to another explosive NSPPD fire prayer session. Today is not just any Wednesday. **Wednesdays are for mercy. Wednesdays are for divine visitations.** And when mercy meets the furnace, get ready for **sudden evidence**.
This is **Day 3 of the Furnace of Answers**, and the cry of our hearts is one simple but profound prayer: **“Oh Lord, show me mercy.”**
The Psalmist declared in Psalm 13:5: *“But I have trusted in Thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation.”* Today, we are not trusting in our works, our qualifications, or our connections. We are trusting in the **mercy of God** – the one thing that can turn any situation around, no matter how hopeless it looks.

## The Theme Explained: When Mercy Meets the Furnace
The NSPPD altar has been burning all week with the Furnace of Answers. Fire has been falling. Yokes have been breaking. Chains have been shattering. But today, something different happens. Today, **mercy** steps into the furnace.
Mercy is not getting what you deserve. You deserved judgment, but mercy says “pardon.” You deserved delay, but mercy says “sudden evidence.” You deserved rejection, but mercy says “divine visitation.” When mercy meets the furnace, the fire does not destroy you – it **delivers** you. The furnace that was meant to consume you becomes the place where your chains melt away.
That is why Wednesdays are special. God has set apart this day to release **mercy upon mercy** upon everyone who cries out from a sincere heart.

## What Mercy Does Today
Pastor Jerry Eze has declared that **there will be mercy** in seven specific dimensions:
### Mercy That Wipes Bitter Tears
Some of you have cried until you have no tears left. You have cried over broken marriages, wayward children, failed businesses, and health challenges that refuse to go away. Today, mercy is wiping those tears. Not tomorrow – today. The God who saw Hagar’s tears in the wilderness sees yours. And He is sending mercy to dry every eye.
### Mercy for a Bouncing Back
You may have fallen. Perhaps it was a moral failure, a financial collapse, or a public embarrassment. The enemy told you that you cannot recover. But mercy says you can bounce back. Mercy restores wasted years. Mercy returns stolen glory. Mercy lifts you from the pit and sets your feet on solid ground. Your bounce back starts now.
### Mercy for Healing
Sickness has no right to stay in your body. Terminal diseases, chronic conditions, strange symptoms – mercy is being released for complete healing. The same mercy that healed the woman with the issue of blood, the same mercy that opened the eyes of the blind, is moving over your body right now. Receive your healing by mercy.
### Mercy for Laughter to Be Restored
Laughter is a weapon of joy. But when trouble multiplies, laughter disappears. Today, mercy is restoring your laughter. Like Sarah who laughed when she heard she would have a child, you will laugh again. Not a forced laugh, but a deep, heart‑felt laughter of testimony. Your mouth will soon be filled with laughter, and your tongue with singing (Psalm 126:2).
### Mercy Over Your Family
Your family may be under attack. Marriages on the brink, children straying, parents struggling. But mercy is being poured out over households today. The same mercy that saved the household of Rahab, the same mercy that delivered the household of Cornelius, is covering your family. No member of your household will be left out.
### Mercy for Completion
You have started many things but finished few. Projects abandoned, dreams half‑done, promises unfulfilled. Mercy is coming to help you complete. The God who finishes what He starts will give you the grace to close that chapter, finish that degree, complete that building, and see that vision to the end. Mercy says: you will not die with unfinished business.
### Mercy for Perfection
Perfection here means wholeness – lacking nothing. Mercy is perfecting everything that concerns you. Where there have been gaps, mercy fills them. Where there have been weaknesses, mercy supplies strength. Where there have been missing pieces, mercy brings them together. You will lack no good thing because mercy is working on your behalf.

## Prophetic Instructions for Today
Pastor Jerry Eze has given clear instructions to position yourself for the release of mercy. Follow them carefully:
### Continue Fasting (6am to 1pm, Monday to Friday)
You are already in the week of fasting. Do not break it. Your sacrifice of food is creating a hunger in your spirit that mercy cannot ignore. Use the fasting hours to pray, read the Word, and stay focused on the altar.
### Bring Every Negative Report to the Altar of Mercy
Do not hide your bad news. Bring it to the altar. Medical reports, court summons, termination letters, bank alerts showing empty accounts – lay them before the Lord. Mercy specialises in reversing negative reports. What the report says is not your final story. Bring it to the altar and watch mercy rewrite it.
### Write Down What You Want Your New Season to Look Like
Get a notebook. Be specific. Write down:
– What health do you want?
– What marriage do you want?
– What business do you want?
– What spiritual level do you want?
Write it as if it is already happening. This is an act of faith that mercy honours.
### Write Down What You Do NOT Want in Your New Season
On a separate list, write everything you refuse to carry into your next season:
– No more sickness
– No more poverty
– No more family strife
– No more stagnation
– No more tears
This list is your rejection decree. You are telling mercy: “This will not follow me.”
### Send Prayer Requests to the Altar

Declare this with faith, out loud:

Say it again. And again. Let it be your confession throughout the day. Trusting in mercy is not passive – it is an active, aggressive choice to believe that God’s compassion is greater than your crisis.

## Prayers for the Furnace of Mercy
Here are prayer points to pray during your personal altar time today. Pray them with intensity. Mercy responds to desperation.
### Opening Praise (5 minutes)
Worship God for His mercy. Thank Him that His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Sing songs of mercy and grace.
### Confession (5 minutes)
Declare: *“I trust in the mercy of God. Mercy is working for me right now. Mercy is wiping my tears. Mercy is causing me to bounce back. Mercy is healing my body. Mercy is restoring my laughter. Mercy is covering my family. Mercy is completing what I started. Mercy is perfecting everything concerning me.”*
### Fire Prayers for Mercy (20 minutes)

7. *“Mercy for completion! Every unfinished project in my life, receive the grace to finish.”*
8. *“Mercy for perfection! Every gap, every weakness, every missing piece – mercy is filling it.”*
9. *“Every negative report on my table, mercy is tearing you apart. I will not die by that report.”*
10. *“Terminal disease, hear me: mercy says you have no right to stay. Leave my body now!”*
### Thanksgiving (5 minutes)
Thank God for answered mercy. Do not wait to see the evidence – thank Him in advance. Praise Him for the sudden evidence that is on its way.

## What “Sudden Evidence” Looks Like
Pastor Jerry Eze promised: **when mercy meets the furnace, prepare for sudden evidence.** Sudden evidence means you will not wait long. You will not struggle for years. The proof of God’s mercy will appear:

– **Suddenly**, a door opens that has been shut for years.
Do not look for gradual improvement. Look for **sudden evidence**. Mercy does not work slowly. It works abruptly, dramatically, and unmistakably.

As we pray today, testimonies are already flooding the NSPPD altar. People are reporting:
– **Healings** from incurable diseases.
– **Financial breakthroughs** after years of lack.
– **Family restorations** that seemed impossible.

Your testimony is next. Before this day ends, you will have a reason to say: “The Lord has shown me mercy.”
