## PART TWO: COMMENTARY FOR THE NEW WEEK

### Introduction: The Power of Ephphatha

Pastor Jerry Eze opens this new week with a declaration of aggressive faith and divine authority. The repeated imagery of keys, doors, gates, and mountains signals a season of breakthrough, access, and conquest. This is not a week for passivity; it is a week for taking possession.

The theme, **”5 Days of Ephphatha,”** is drawn from Mark 7:34, where Jesus healed a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment. Looking up to heaven, He sighed and spoke a single word: **”Ephphatha”** – which means **”Be Opened.”** Immediately, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.

This word carries creative power. When Jesus spoke it, deaf ears opened. When Jesus spoke it, mute tongues were loosed. When Jesus spoke it, impossible situations were transformed. This week, that same word is being spoken over your life.

### The Declaration of Authority

The opening declarations establish the tone for the week:

**”WE TAKE THE KEYS TO DOORS”** – Keys represent authority and access. This week, you are not waiting for doors to open; you are taking the keys and opening them yourself.

**”WE OPEN UP TERRITORIES”** – Territories represent new ground, new realms, new levels. This week, you possess new territory.

**”WE KNOCK DOWN THE GATES”** – Gates represent barriers and defenses. This week, every gate standing against you is demolished.

**”WE BULLDOZE THE MOUNTAINS”** – Mountains represent obstacles and impossibilities. This week, they are leveled.

**”THIS WEEK MUST COUNT IN YOUR DESTINY”** – This is not an ordinary week. It is a week of significance, of impact, of progress.

**”ISN’T THIS WEEK THE WEEK YOU PRAYED FOR?”** – This question is both rhetorical and prophetic. The answer is yes. This is the week of answered prayer.

### The Nine Ephphatha Declarations

**1. EPHPHATHA To Territorial Gates**

Territorial gates represent the entrances to new realms—new levels of influence, new spheres of impact. This declaration opens those gates.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha! Every gate blocking my entry into new territory, be opened!

**2. EPHPHATHA Over Families**

Families can be closed to blessing, closed to salvation, closed to breakthrough. This declaration opens families to divine visitation.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha over my family! Every closed door in my household, be opened!

**3. EPHPHATHA To New Beginnings**

New beginnings require open doors. This declaration ensures that the doors to your fresh start are wide open.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha to my new beginning! Let every door to my fresh start swing open!

**4. EPHPHATHA To Your Season Of Restoration**

Restoration means recovering what was lost. This declaration opens the way for everything stolen to be returned.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha to my season of restoration! Let everything the enemy stole be restored!

**5. EPHPHATHA To Your Congratulations**

Congratulations are reserved for achievements and celebrations. This declaration opens the door to your season of celebration.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha to my congratulations! Let my season of celebration begin!

**6. EPHPHATHA To The Completion**

Unfinished projects, incomplete assignments, stalled endeavors—this declaration opens the way for completion.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha to completion! Let every unfinished work in my life be brought to completion!

**7. EPHPHATHA Over Your Perfection**

Perfection here means maturity, wholeness, being fully developed. This declaration opens the way to becoming all God intended.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha over my perfection! Let me mature and develop into all God has called me to be!

**8. EPHPHATHA To Your Rising**

Rising speaks of promotion, elevation, increase. This declaration opens the door to your next level.

**Declaration:** Ephphatha to my rising! Let me arise and take my place!

**9. No More Mountains**

Mountains represent every obstacle that has stood in your way. This declaration declares them removed.

**Declaration:** No more mountains! Every obstacle in my path is bulldozed!

### The Prophetic Instructions for the Week

**1. Covenant Day of Fasting and Prayer (6am to 3pm)**

Fasting intensifies prayer and sharpens spiritual sensitivity. The specific hours create a corporate rhythm of sacrifice and intercession.

**Action:** Observe the fast each day of this 5-day season. Use the hours to focus your prayers and declarations.

**2. Write Your “EPHPHATHA LIST”**

This is a specific list of everything that must open up in March. Be detailed. Be specific. Write it as a record of faith.

**Action:** Take a sheet of paper. Title it “My Ephphatha List.” Write down every door, every gate, every territory, every situation that needs to be opened. Be specific.

**3. Bring Symbolic Representation of Your Ephphatha Evidence**

This is a physical object that represents what your breakthrough will look like. It is a point of contact for faith.

**Action:** Identify an object that symbolizes your breakthrough (e.g., a key for a new home, a document for a job, a baby item for fruitfulness). Bring it to the altar of prayer.

**4. Send Your 6 Priority Prayer Points**

Send your six most urgent prayer points to the designated email. This submits your requests to the corporate altar.

**Action:** Prayerfully write six priority prayer points and email them to nsppdat6@streamsofjoy.org.

**5. You Cannot Afford to Be Alone**

Corporate prayer multiplies power. Do not pray alone this week.

**Action:** Call a friend. Share these prayer points. Invite someone to watch with you. Pray together.

Father, I speak Ephphatha to every territorial gate before me. Every gate blocking my entry into new levels, new realms, new territories—BE OPENED!

Let me possess the land You have promised me. Let me enter the doors You have prepared for me.

### Prayer 3: Prayer Over Families

Father, I speak Ephphatha over my family. Every closed door in my household—doors of salvation, doors of breakthrough, doors of blessing—BE OPENED!

Let every member of my family encounter Your grace. Let every home be visited by Your presence.

Father, I speak Ephphatha to my new beginnings. Let every door to my fresh start swing wide open. Let every opportunity for a new chapter be accessible.

Father, I declare NO MORE MOUNTAINS in my life! Every obstacle, every barrier, every impossibility—BE BULLDOZED! Let every mountain become a plain.
