45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

The Christian race is an individual race; however, you belong to the Body of Christ which consists of other believers to succeed therefore you need to relate well with. When a baby is porn, it needs to be weaned from milk to solid food, and then to full maturity. Likewise a new believer needs older people in the faith to hold him or her by the hand. This is where the pastor, teacher, prophet and others are needed in the journey of a believer. The Christian journey to growth and maturity is not an exercise in isolation. You need fellow brethren because it is about the heavenly kingdom.

This body consists of other parts, the stronger and the weak, yet they all complement one another for survival (1 Corinthians 12:14-21). Therefore, begin to see other people as very important on this spiritual journey of life. You need fellow believers who will be of help to you no matter what you face, for encouragement, counsel, guidance and prayers. These ones will guide you according to the word of God and will offer you wise counsel and help in times of need.

Hebrews 10:25 says, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” This makes it very necessary for every believer to belong to a fellowship or church where the true word of God is taught and practised, where he can grow and serve. Without regular fellowship with brethren, it is very easy for a believer, young or old, to fall away from the faith. Therefore, it is expedient for Christians to always attend fellowship and rub minds with others.

Fellowshipping with other believers is only for your own good, but also for the good of others, as you bear each other’s burden without growing weary. As you do this, you develop the mind of Jesus and you become more like Him day by day, growing and maturing in the things of the spirit. Let us all be humble enough to see the need for another in the Body of Christ. We cannot live a lonely life here. Love is the ultimate.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Father Lord, send me profitable helpers in my Christian journey, in the name of Jesus.
2. I have my hands on the plough. I shall not look back, in the name of Jesus.
3. I refuse to be weak or weary in doing good, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Lord Jesus, help me to love others as You do, in the name of Jesus.
5. My Father, make me teachable and humble, in the name of Jesus.
6. Lord, help me to see where I need to bear the burden of fellow brethren, in the name of Jesus.
7. Agape love of God, possess me, in the name of Jesus.
