“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a
sound fromheaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared
to themdivided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to
speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance”
(Acts 2:1–4).
This is an account of the release of the spirit of man. It is the flow of spiritual freedomfor man’s reborn spirit!
You are a spirit. You have a soul. You live in a body. Your spirit was dead to God. When Adamsinned, his light went out —the light of his spirit vanished. When Eve sinned, the light of her spirit went out.
Life left them, and death came to them
spiritually.
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of
this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among
whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others”(Ephesians 2:1–3).

When you came into this world, you were dead to God in your spirit. There are only two kinds of people in this world:
children of God and children of the devil (1 John 3:10).
Either God is your Father or the devil is your father (John 8:42–44).
You are motivated either by God or the devil. Every lost person has the devil as his father (Ephesians 2:2).The person who is a child of the devil has spiritual death
residing on the inside of him. The person who is a child of God is a spirit that has eternal life. God is his Father. When you
receive Jesus Christ, God imparts His eternal life into your spirit through the Holy Spirit.
However, we can be born again and have God’s life in us and not have that spirit free. The baptismof the Holy Spirit sets you free in your spirit!
