## PART TWO: COMMENTARY ON DAY 8

### The Atmosphere of Mercy

Day 8 of the Hallelujah Challenge was marked by a profound atmosphere of mercy. The declaration “We rejoiced in the mercy of God tonight” indicates that the entire session was bathed in the revelation of God’s unmerited favour and compassionate kindness toward His people.

Mercy is not just something God gives; it is something we enter into. It is an atmosphere, a realm, a dimension of His presence. When the Church gathers in praise, mercy is activated. When voices unite in worship, mercy responds.

### Deliverance Declared

The highlight declares three specific dimensions of deliverance:

**”God has delivered our souls from death”** – This speaks of preservation from destruction. In the context of the Hallelujah Challenge, many have been praying against premature death, fatal accidents, and deadly attacks. The declaration is that God has answered. Souls are preserved.

**Manifestation** – This is the physical appearance of what was previously invisible. Dreams become reality. Promises become possessions. Prayers become testimonies.

**Restoration** – This is the recovery of what was lost, stolen, or wasted. The years the locusts have eaten are returned. Relationships are healed. Finances are restored. Health is recovered.

In biblical numerology, the number eight often represents **new beginnings**. Consider:

– Circumcision was performed on the eighth day – entering into covenant
– The Feast of Tabernacles lasted eight days – dwelling in God’s presence
– Jesus rose on the first day of the week, which was the eighth day – new creation
– Peter’s vision of clean and unclean animals in Acts 10 occurred at the sixth hour (noon), and he went to Caesarea the next day – the eighth day dimension

That Day 8 of the Hallelujah Challenge brought a declaration of entering a “new prophetic season” is deeply significant. It aligns with the scriptural pattern of eighth-day breakthroughs.

### The Midnight Dimension

The Hallelujah Challenge consistently meets at 11:59PM WAT—literally minutes before midnight. This timing is strategic:

7. I DECLARE that this is my season of restoration! Everything the enemy stole is returned with interest!

8. I DECLARE that the midnight hour is my hour of breakthrough! As I praise, chains fall and doors open!

9. I DECLARE that I will not miss my season of visitation! I am present, expectant, and ready!

10. I DECLARE that Day 8 marks my new beginning! Old things are passed away; behold, all things are new!

Father, we thank You for Day 8 of the Hallelujah Challenge. We thank You for the mercy that flowed, the deliverance that was declared, and the new season that was entered.
