TOPIC: DEALING WITH MYSTERIES AND HIDDEN SECRETS.
SCRIPTURE: Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People take charge when mysteries are unveiled.
There are secrets behind the struggles of most people’s lives. Behind most struggles of life are hidden secrets in the spirit realm.
Behind most miseries of life are hidden mysteries.
Many people are doing all they know to do, serving God faithfully, being dedicated to their duties in their office, but nothing seems to be working for them. There is a mystery somewhere.
A very intelligent person has taken a particular examination many times but could not pass.
Meanwhile, he has taught others, and they wrote the same examination and passed. There could be a hidden mystery somewhere waiting to be unraveled. By virtue of some hidden evil covenants, demonic verdicts, ancient parental transactions or ancestral curses, people find themselves in struggles, miseries and mysterious circumstances they cannot explain.
That is why it is important for mysteries to be unveiled. In our study today, we shall be looking at how to deal with mysteries.
Many years ago, I heard the story of a family where young ladies could not live beyond the age of 30. They would die mysteriously around the age of 30. Upon enquiry, it was discovered that their forefather was a king, and when he died, his last wife who was a young girl of about 30 years old was forcefully buried alive with him. Their ancient custom demanded that the last wife must escort the dead king to the land of the dead. So, they buried her alive.
While the young woman was being marched to the burial ground, she continued to lay curses on the family. And one of the curses was that since they cut her life short in her prime at the age of 30, no young woman in that family would live beyond the age of 30. And for a long time, that curse prevailed because a curse, curseful must come. It is only a curse, curseless that cannot come. But that mystery was eventually unveiled, and liberation came to the family.
Now, what happens when mysteries are unveiled?
1. Miseries are terminated when mysteries are unveiled. Daniel and his colleagues were miserable, they could not sleep until the mystery was revealed (Daniel 2:14-19)
2. Victory over forces of destruction is attained where mysteries are revealed. Until a mystery is unveiled and tackled, a negative pattern may continue.
3. Mastery is attained when mysteries are unveiled. People take charge when mystery is unveiled (Daniel 2:46).
4. Histories are addressed when mysteries are revealed (Daniel 9:2).
Now, let’s look at two keys to unveiling mysteries.
1. Access to light from the Lord. Daniel 2:22 says, He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. The Lord knows what is in the darkness. Why? The light dwelleth in Him. Light from the Lord unveils mysteries, and that light can come from His Presence and His Word.
2. Engaging the altar of prayer. At the altar of prayer, you can break into revelations, discover secrets or unveil mysteries. Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
The secret was revealed to Daniel at the place of prayer (Daniel 2:17-18).
Remember this: People take charge when mysteries are unveiled.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Endeavour to pray in the spirit abundantly and always pay attention to what the Spirit of God shows or says as you pray.
2. Take out some time to pray in the spirit today.
3. Ask God to unveil every mystery around your life and family.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the Blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for my complete redemption. Let every mystery around my life be demystified by the Blood of Jesus, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
