Commit to pray daily.
Third, make the commitment to pray daily. Taking the time every day to communicate with God tells Him that your heart is open to Him and that you want to learn more about Him. And as you pray, keep a
journal that contains your requests and how God answered your prayers as a continuing testimony of His work in your life. Remember to write down the specific verses He applies to your situation and the promises He gives you from His Word.
In his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and
gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God (Daniel 6:10–11).
