Dr Charles F. Stanley ‘s daily sermon for today : You build faith in God by relying on His power

Table of Contents

Topic: You build faith in God by relying on His power.

The two men clearly relied on the power of God, which is the next step in developing a strong faith.

David did not need a spear or a javelin to defeat Goliath, but only a homemade slingshot—and, of course, the power of God. Elisha did not need a weapon at all, for God answered his prayer to strike
the Syrians with blindness (see 2 Kings 6:18). God provided the victory in both cases, and He received the glory.
