The extent to which you identify with Christ will determine, in part, what you hear God say to you.

If you are truly seeking to become more like Him, and striving to make Him the Lord of your life, you are going to hear God’s counsel. But if you are merely content with the fact you are saved, you probably
won’t hear God’s voice. And that is a great danger for believers, for if you fail to hear from God, it will lead you to make some unwise and costly mistakes.
