TOPIC: CALEB.
TEXT: NUMBERS 13:30; 14:6-9.
NUMBERS 13:30
30 Caleb silenced the people on Moses’ behalf and responded, “Let’s go up and take control, because we can definitely conquer it.”
NUMBERS 14:6-9.
6 Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were of those who spied out the land, tore their clothes.
7 They spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, “The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land.
8 If Yahweh delights in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to us: a land which flows with milk and honey. [Rom 8:31]
9 Only don’t rebel against Yahweh, neither fear the people of the land; for they are bread for us. Their defense is removed from over them, and Yahweh is with us. Don’t fear them.” Deu 20:3 [Neh 4:14]
TOPIC: CALEB.
MESSAGE: COCIN Devotional TOPIC: CALEB THURSDAY 4TH MAY 2023
God pledged to lead Israel to the Promised Land to give them rest. The spies gave a pleasant report about the blessings and prosperity of the land, but some also presented a discouraging report that the inhabitants were powerful and the cities fortified. So, the people were gripped with fear. But Caleb trusted the Lord and would not treat God’s power and ability with contempt. He confidently expressed, should go up and “We take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it”. The threat of Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, bandits and kidnappers often terrify us because they are brutal and well-armed. Even so, our trust is in the Lord who is able to protect, deliver and avenge for his people. Therefore, do not be afraid. COCIN Devotional TOPIC: CALEB THURSDAY 4TH MAY 2023

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The person who does what is good is from God. The person who does what is evil has never seen God. Psa 37:27 Isa 1:16 1Pe 3:11 1Jn 3:6 COCIN Devotional TOPIC: CALEB THURSDAY 4TH MAY 2023
