TOPIC: GOD BREEDS PEACEMAKERS II.
TEXT: MATTHEW 5:9, JAMES 3:18.
MATTHEW 5:9,
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
JAMES 3:18.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
TOPIC: GOD BREEDS PEACEMAKERS II.
MESSAGE:
A tree is identified by the kind of fruit it produces. Life replicates itself. It is sustained by the off-springs that live on. Our reading affirms that those who make peace shall be called sons of God, because they are birthed by him. They will plant seeds of peace and reap the harvest of righteousness. In the semblance of their maker, believers are peace-loving, considerate, pure and merciful. These lead to the harvest of righteousness. Peacemakers lead a quiet life, possess winsome speech and do good works that generally promote peace. They avoid acts of disorderliness, rancor, gossiping and do not fan flames of troubles. Child of God, be a peacemaker.

Propagate peace.
