Topic: God may use other extraordinary measures to guide you on His path.
The Lord may use other extraordinary
circumstances to point you along the path He wants you to take. He used a donkey to let Balaam know what He wanted him to do (see Numbers 22:28–30).
He used a bush that didn’t burn up to communicate His will to Moses (see Exodus 3).
He used a whirlwind to set Job straight (see Job 38:1) and a great fish to compel Jonah to do what He had asked
(see Jonah 1:17).
You must learn to look for the presence of God in every circumstance of life, for He leaves His footprints and handiwork all around you.
[Saul] fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him,“Saul, Saul, why are you
persecuting Me?” And he said,
“Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” (Acts 9:3–6).
