10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
LUKE 8: 43-48
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

1 Peter 5:10 (NIV): “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
This verse from 1 Peter assures believers that despite the trials and sufferings they may face, God, the source of all grace, will bring restoration. It acknowledges the reality of temporary suffering but offers hope in God’s promise to strengthen and establish believers after enduring hardships.
Luke 8:43-48 (NIV): “And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. ‘Who touched me?’ Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, ‘Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.’ But Jesus said, ‘Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.’ Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.'”
This passage from Luke recounts the miraculous healing of a woman who suffered from chronic bleeding for twelve years. Despite numerous failed attempts at finding a cure, her faith in Jesus led her to touch the edge of His cloak, believing in His power to heal. Jesus acknowledges her faith and grants her complete healing, emphasizing the importance of faith and trust in Him for miraculous intervention.
Both of these passages convey messages of hope, restoration, and the significance of faith in God’s power to bring about healing and strength in times of suffering or distress.
