MESSAGE:
Today’s passage admonishes us to make every effort to live in peace with everyone. To make “every effort” means to keep pushing on without giving up. It means forgiving someone who has offended you
without apologising and you exhausting all available avenues for reconciliation. Peace is not cheap but requires sacrifice. Do not
compromise holiness as you live in peace with others. Depend on the grace and the power of the Holy Spirit to achieve this. There are some people that are difficult to please. However, do all you can to relate with them.
Who are you currently not living in peace with?
What specific efforts will you make from today to live in peace with the person?
It is possible to live in peace with everyone. Keep on trying, God is your help.
REFLECTION:
Live in peace with everyone as you can.
PRAYER:
Lord, help me to always make every effort to live in peace with everyone. Amen.
MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH: PSALM 122:6-7
