God wants to break you of the idea that you are sufficient on yourown. He made you for a loving, intimate relationship
with Himself, and at times He will use adversity to remind you of the fact that you are dependent on Him. “I am the vine, you are the branches.
He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
