Deuteronomy 15:6 (KJV): “For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.”

Hebrews 11:32-38 (KJV):

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

Hebrews 11:32-38 is a part of the “Faith Hall of Fame” chapter, describing various Old Testament figures who exhibited great faith. It recounts how these individuals, through their faith, achieved great things, overcame adversities, and endured extreme hardships and persecutions for the sake of their faith in God. The passage speaks of their victories, trials, sufferings, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity, highlighting their commitment to God despite intense challenges.
