The following are the Highlights of the Decisions taken by the Governing Council of RCCG ;
The Governing Council of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) held their Annual Meeting today, 6th August 2023; and took some very Important Decisions!
Those ones that you should know, I will tell you.
1. At the Level of the Continental Administration:
I. By the Grace of God; “The Americas” Continent will be split into two (2) – “The Americas” Continent 1 and ‘The Americas” Continent 2.
“The Americas” Continent 1 will still have her Headquarters in America.
“The Americas” Continent 2 will have her Headquarters in Canada.
Other details as to this will be Passed on to you.
II. Some Continental Overseers has been Promoted to “Overseer Emeritus”.
And the two (2) of them on this Promotion are:
A. Pastor Dele Olowu (Current Continental Overseer of Continent 9, covering Europe)
B. Pastor Wole Haastrup (Current Continental Overseer of Continent 8; covering Australia and Pacific.
It simply means that they are Retiring but not Tired!
Therefore, there will be New Overseers to take over their Continent – Continents 8 and 9!
And the Set Period of Final Transition will end of this Year 2023
The New Continental Overseers for Australia and Pacific with that of Europe will begin Full Operations from 1st January, 2024 – Even though they will work with their Respective Continental Overseers Emeritus from now on so that they can take off smoothly without shaking.
The New Continental Overseer for Continent 9, covering Europe will be – Pastor Leke Sanusi.
NOTES: Pastor Leke Sanusi is currently the Regional Pastor for Europe Mainland 2. A Barrister and Solicitor, successfully Practiced Law for over a decade before answering the Call into Pastoral Ministry in 1997.
The New Continental Overseer for Continent 8, covering Australia and Pacific will be – Pastor Ibukunolu Williams.
NOTES: Pastor Ibukunolu Williams – Pastor IB as he is fondly called, is the Senior Pastor in Charge of the RCCG Jesus House Melbourne (Melbourne City is the Capital City of the State of Victoria in Australia). He is happily married and blessed with children.
There are other details not concerning us as much!
2. For this Year’s 71st RCCG Annual Convention 2023; the following were approved by the Governing Council:
I. Nine (9) New Regions has been Created.
You will hear the details later.
II. Twenty Nine (29) New Provinces were also created.
III. Nineteen Honourary Elders will be Ordained during this Year’s Convention.
IV. Eight Thousand, four hundred and ninety nine (8,499) Deacons and Deaconesses will be Ordained during this Year’s Convention.

V. Four Thousand, three hundred and twenty five (4,325) Assistant Pastors will be Ordained during this Year’s Convention.
VI. One thousand, eight hundred and ninety six (1,896) Full Pastors will be Ordained during this Year’s Convention.
VII. A Total Number of Six Thousand and thirty two (6,032) Graduands will be Graduating from our Bible College during this Year’s Convention.
3. The Governing Council has also approved that from henceforth, the name “Redemption Camp” shall be known from now on as “Redemption City of God”.

This City will be far, far more secured.
We have gotten a New Security Outfit who will be Headed by a Former General of the Nigerian Army; ably assisted by a former Deputy Inspector General of Police and other very Top,Top People.
The Retired General heading this “Special Security Outfit” is a Great Missionary and doubles as a Pastor in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
So, you begin to hear some People taking the Land that we have bought and Paid for.
And they called themselves – “Ajagun Gba’le” ( NOTES: Forceful Takers Over of Land)

Pastor Pat Akem-Vingir is the Current Pastor-In-Charge of RCCG Jesus House, Abuja and a Great Missionary when serving the Nigerian Army in Liberia
As the Special Adviser to the RCCG on Security the Scope of Reference is – To Coordinate Security Activities, Craft Security Policies and Strategies for the RCCG in General and the Redemption City in Particular.
4. We need to manage things in the Camp.
It is unwise to leave Light or Air-condition on when you are not in the Room.
Let’s learn to manage things so that Life will be meaningful for all of us.
Learn to switch off all Electrical Appliances when you don’t need them.
5. We started “A Move” sometimes ago – “Operation Pick Up That Dirt”.
Whenever you are Passing by or even in your homes; pick up any dirt you come across:and put it in the right Place.
I Pray that as you do that; God will Clean Up your Life for you – Amen!
6. There are some of us that still has in our Possession “Old Audio Tapes” that are not needed anymore.
Please donate them to us – We will appreciate this as we want to do something with them.
Those are basically the things they wanted me to tell you.
The other details as the Elders will say that – The soup does not shake in the belly of the Elders.
You will hear the others when the time comes!
