MESSAGE

Food is a gift from God, I can’t imagine a world without pounded yam and vegetable soup. God gave us crops and herbs for our own good, however, nothing is to be abused. Abusing food is the cause of many health challenges. For example, excess intake of carbohydrates can make one overweight, excess intake of sugary things or junk can lead to diabetes eating too much fatty foods can lead to heart issues, et cetera. Therefore, it is important to eat a balanced diet: have a combination of all the classes of food (carbohydrate, protein, minerals, vitamins, fats and water) in your meals. Also, note that it is not healthy to eat late at night, eat your dinner between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Just as it is dangerous to overeat, it is also dangerous to undereat. When you don’t eat as you ought to, you will be malnourished. You can also suffer from stomach ulcers. Therefore, don’t eat excessively, neither should you under eat. Make sure there is a balance in everything you do.

Be intentional about your eating habits henceforth
