With 6.4 out of 7.0 CGPA and 13 awards, she emerged the overall best graduating student of the University of Ibadan (UI), Nigeria. Narrating the story of her educational journey to Nigerian Tribune, a newspaper/online blogger, she said: “I ALWAYS TOOK THE LAST POSITION IN CLASS!”
Wow! What a paradigm shift! Can you imagine a person who used to take last position becoming the overall best student? The Bible is true when it says: “The first shall become the last and the last shall become the first.”So, hidden in her academic failure was her First Class potential.

What the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that, “YOUR PAST IS NOT YOU!” LIFE CAN ONLY BE UNDERSTOOD BACKWARDS, BUT IT MUST BE LIVED FORWARDS!” No matter how terrible and unpleasant your past may have been, your story must end in your favour this year, Adunola became the best because she refused to dwell in her past. She knew that her past was not her.
