Apostle Michael Orokpo Biography

Apostle Orokpo Micheal Apeh is a great man of God who is from Otukpa in Idoma land, Benue state. He was born on the 1st of March, 1981 into the Orokpo family. Apostle Michael Orokpo holds a BSc (bachelor’s degree in Pure Chemistry), MSc. (Masters’s Degree in Physical Chemistry) and a Doctorate Degree in Chemistry from the Benue State University of Agriculture, Makurdi (BSU).

Obviously, God has highlighted the Apostle for great ministerial work while he was still very young. He was having encounters with the Lord Jesus Christ at a young tender age. God was drawing him to Himself and was taking him to different paths in the things of the Spirit.

While growing up, he encountered some great men of God like Evangelist Benny Hinn, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Evangelist Todd White, Prophet Sadhu Salveraj, Apostle Randy Clark, Apostle Arome Osayi, Evangelist Reinhard Bonke, Bishop David Oyedepo, Bishop David Abioye, Reverend Hillary Agbo, etc. One of the obvious things about him was his hunger. He is hungry for greater things of the Spirit, which is one of the reasons he takes certain steps. For instance, he slept on crusade grounds just to tap into the grace of some of these great men. He also engaged in long serious fasting and prayer, and he was helped.

On May 24th, 2019 he was ordained a clergy. Apostle Orokpo Micheal became an apostle sent to revive and set men on fire for Yahweh. As a Revivalist, he travels around the nations, changing things to the Glory of the LORD as a fiery preacher who carries the message of revival to quicken the feeble in the nations. He is regarded as a prophetic teacher of God’s word with strong apostolic authority.

Apostle Michael Orokpo has recognized his mission in ministry early enough. He used to live in Makurdi in Benue state when he was still with Remnant Christian Network, even acting as an adjunct instructor and lecturer at the Cave Adullam Bible College. He is well-versed in the scriptures which is always obvious whenever he ministers. He is a passionate soul winner, a teacher of the gospel, a living witness, and a dispenser of the immortal realities of God.

He moved forward as he announced his ministry known as Encounter Jesus Ministries International on November 11th, 2021. It should be noted that he has faithfully served in various other ministries before starting Encounter Jesus Ministries International. For instance, he has spent some time at Christ Embassy and Remnant Christian Network. So, with a lot of experience already, he birthed the ministry with a mission to sustain the experiential knowledge of God and help people walk in the fullness of their eternal ordinations.

Encounter Jesus Ministries International is keen on raising a tribe of sons that do the will of their heavenly father. They are raising priests that bear the burdens of their Lord and Kings that promote the kingdom of their God and reign in life. The ministry is based in Abuja, Nigeria. And as the President and founder of Encounter Jesus Ministries International, he is also based in Abuja with his beautiful family. He is married to his heartthrob, Pastor Mrs. Osenaga Michael-Orokpo, a strong worship leader. The duo got married on April 24th, 2021 and they welcomed their first child some months after (on 7th February 2022). They named their son Moses Idango Ehinomen Orokpo and he was christened by Pastor Paul Enenche and his wife, Pastor Becky Paul-Enenche on 15th February 2022.

Generally, the ministry of Apostle Michael Orokpo has been a formidable platform for encountering the Lord and furnishing His experiential knowledge in the hearts of men. It is an Apostolic community that exposes believers to the person of the Holy Spirit and guides them into enjoying the fullness of His ministry. And as expected, the Holy Spirit is involved with equipping the believers through sound teaching of the word and doctrine. The Lord is obviously interested in helping His people grow into the fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ.
