TOPIC: HE RESTORES.
TEXT: ISAIAH 40:28-31.
28. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
29. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
30. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
31. but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
TOPIC: HE RESTORES.
MESSAGE:
The scripture reminds us that the Lord is the everlasting God. He created, upholds and governs both the visible and the invisible. God’s knowledge is too lofty to fathom. Isaiah states that He never grows tired or weary in sustaining His creation. He restores the strength of the weak and the aged and lifts up those who stumble or faint. Are you downcast because of poverty, sickness, loss, trauma or disappointments? Do not despair, hope in the Lord who gives strength and increases power to the weak. He is able to restore and anoint you with fresh oil for continuity (see Joel 2:25).
REFLECTION:
With God, nothing is beyond restoration.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, increase my strength daily. Amen.
