13. Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

The opinion that all roads lead to the same destination is not applicable to the Christian faith. Jesus makes it clear that there are two major ways in life. One is narrow and small, yet it leads to eternal life. The other is wide and broad but it leads to destruction, a separation from God in hell. Those who yield to sinful nature such as lying, stealing, drunkenness, sexual immorality, idolatry and so on are trending the wide and broad road. But those who surrender their lives to Christ and refrain from sinful habits to live holy lives are treading the narrow and small gate.
Which way are you treading?
The narrow path may appear difficult, but when you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, He will equip and bestow on you the power of the Holy Spirit to lead you through.THE BROAD AND NARROW WAY COCIN Devotional THURSDAY 7TH MARCH 2024
