Mentality is what determines destiny. You must come to the point where you are convinced that you were created to be in charge.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Mentality is what determines destiny.
Lions are generally reckoned to be the undisputable kings of the jungle because of their boldness, audacity and ferocity. Lions do not turn away for other animals, be it the elephant, hippopotamus, camel, etc. Other animals may be bigger than the lion but it does not turn away from them when confronted.
Now, what could be the reason behind the lion’s audacity? It is like something inside of it constantly tells it, “You are in charge here.” I heard that an ostrich or a giraffe can kick a lion to death; nevertheless, the lion still convinces itself that it is in charge. So, in essence, the lion does not rule by size; it rules by sense, and sense is superior to size.
You must understand that Kings rule by mentality; they rule by awareness. Mentality is what determines destiny. You must come to the point where you are convinced that you were created to be in charge. You are convinced that you are not for any other position on earth other than the top. Being in charge is by maintaining the correct mind-set and awareness of who you are.
Inferiority mentality is a very dangerous mentality. There are people who prefer to be given water instead of non-alcoholic wine because they believe they don’t deserve wine. Some are willing to sit on the floor instead of sitting on an executive chair because they see themselves less deserving of such dignity.
Beloved, you have to convince yourself that you are in charge. You know, God cannot speak to you about what is not in your heart. If prosperity is not in your heart, God can never tell you that you are a millionaire. If excellence is not in your mind, you cannot hear God speak about it. Moses knew he would be a leader; it was in his heart forty years before he heard the voice at the Burning Bush Encounter (Acts 7:22-25). So, reigning in life is a function of mentality and awareness.
Remember this: Mentality is what determines destiny.
