TOPIC: PROOFS OF TOTAL SURRENDER

SCRIPTURE: My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. Proverbs 23:26

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you do with your time must be determined by God if you have really given your life to Christ.

In the church today, many people claim to have given their lives to Christ. They answer the call to surrender at the altar after a message is preached but in the actual sense, their lifestyles still contradict what they claim to be; their actions contradict their confession. Their lives do not show genuine proofs of total surrender. Hence, there is a need to know the proofs of total surrender.

Now, what are the proofs of total surrender to Christ? In what area of life do we expect proofs of total surrender as Christians?

i) Your Time
What you do with your time must be determined by God. What you do with your time must glorify God if you have really given your life to Christ. Do not use your time to hurt Christ with what you do; do not use your time to serve Christ’s enemies if truly you have given your life to Him.

ii) Your Relationships
If you have given your life to Christ, He must have the final say in the matter of your relationships. Not everyone can be your friend (Psalms 1:1-3). The Scripture said, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14)

iii) Your Transactions
If you cannot involve Christ in your life’s transactions, then you have not given your life to Him.

Some time ago, one of our brothers told me how they were going for a certain meeting in a place; all of them were Christians and one of them said, ‘We are going in now to deliberate, we have to leave Christ outside. Christ cannot be involved in this kind of deliberation.’ But the brother said, ‘As for me, I am going inside with Christ’. What a terrible disposition to life!

You see, when people leave God out in a business transaction for example, and bring the tithe to Church, such tithe is useless. Every tithe or money from questionable or immoral sources multiples your abomination towards God (Proverb 15:6). You cannot give to God the proceeds of what you did not involve Him in.

Beloved, your goal in life should be: anywhere Christ cannot go with me, I do not want to go there; anything Jesus cannot do with me, I do not want to do it; anything God will not give me, I do not need it. Seed Of Destiny 10 April 2018 By Pastor Dr Paul Eneche

Remember this: What you do with your time must be determined by God if you have really given your life to Christ.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Decide to allow Christ control what you do with your time.
2. Avoid any relationship that will not glorify Christ.
3. Make Christ the centre stage of all your transactions in life.

PRAYER: O Lord, I surrender my time, relationships and transactions to You. Take total control, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TEMA: LAS PRUEBAS DE LA ENTREGA TOTAL.

LA ESCRITURA: Dame, hijo mío, tu corazón, Y miren tus ojos por mis caminos. PROVERBIOS 23:26.

PENSAMIENTO PARA EL DÍA: Lo que usted haga con su tiempo debe ser determinado por Dios si realmente ha entregado su vida a Cristo.

En la iglesia de hoy, muchas personas dicen haber entregado sus vidas a Cristo. Responden al llamado a rendirse en el altar después de que se predica un mensaje, pero en el sentido real, sus estilos de vida aún contradicen lo que dicen ser; sus acciones contradicen sus confesiones. Sus vidas no muestran pruebas genuinas de una entrega total. Por lo tanto, es necesario conocer las pruebas de una rendición total.

Ahora, ¿cuáles son las pruebas de la entrega total a Cristo? ¿En qué área de la vida debemos esperar pruebas de rendición total como cristianos?

i) Su Tiempo.

Lo que usted haga con su tiempo debe ser determinado por Dios. Lo que haga con su tiempo debe glorificar a Dios si realmente ha entregado su vida a Cristo. No use su tiempo para herir a Cristo con lo que hace. No use su tiempo para servir a los enemigos de Cristo.

ii) Sus Relaciones.

Si usted ha entregado su vida a Cristo, Él debe tener la última palabra en cuanto a sus relaciones. No todo el mundo debe ser su amigo (Salmos 1:1-3). No os unáis en un yugo desigual con los incrédulos (2 Corintios 6:14).

iii) Sus Transacciones.

Si usted no puede involucrar a Cristo en las transacciones de su vida, entonces no le ha dado su vida a Él.

Hace algún tiempo, uno de nuestros hermanos me dijo que ellos iban a una determinada reunión en un lugar; y que todos ellos eran cristianos y uno de ellos dijo: “Vamos a adentro ahora deliberar, tenemos que dejar a Cristo afuera; Cristo no puede estar involucrado en este tipo de deliberación”. Pero el hermano
dijo: “En cuanto a mí, voy a entrar con Cristo”. Cuando la gente deja a Dios afuera en una transacción comercial y luego lleva el diezmo a la Iglesia, tal diezmo es inútil. Cada diezmo o dinero de fuentes cuestionables o inmorales multiplica su abominación hacia Dios. No puede dar a Dios el lucro de lo que usted no lo involucró a Él.

Amado, su meta en la vida debe ser: cualquier lugar donde Cristo no puede ir conmigo, no quiero ir allí; cualquier cosa que Jesús no puede hacer conmigo, no quiero hacerla; cualquier cosa que Dios no me dé, no la necesito.

Recuerde esto: Lo que haga con su tiempo debe ser determinado por Dios si realmente ha entregado su vida a Cristo.

TAREA(S):

1. Tome la decisión de permitir que Cristo controle lo que usted hace con su tiempo.

2. Evite cualquier relación que no glorifique a Cristo.

3. Haga que Cristo sea el centro de todas sus transacciones en la vida.

ORACIÓN: OH SEÑOR, entrego a Ti mi tiempo, relaciones y transacciones. Toma el control total, Señor, en el Nombre de Jesús.
