MEMORISE:

The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
Job 17:9

READ: Psalm 24:1-5

The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

RCCG OPEN HEAVENS 7 NOVEMBER 2026 TODAY’S MESSAGE

Whenever God wants to perform signs and wonders on earth, He looks for vessels He can use. He usually seeks people who will make themselves available to Him so that His purpose on earth can be fulfilled. One of the things that God loves to do is to heal those who are sick, and He often likes to do this through the hands of those who are fully surrendered to Him.

If you are a child of God, God needs your hands to heal the sick. Mark 16:18 says that you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Of course, God can decide to heal a person directly without using any human medium, but more often than not, He chooses to use His children’s hands.
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
Acts 19:11

In the Scripture above, God was the One who performed special miracles, but He needed Paul’s hands to accomplish them. If you surrender your hands to God, He will perform special miracles through you as well. However, for God to use your hands, they must be clean. Today’s Bible reading tells us what it means to have clean hands. When your hands are clean, you will not lift up your soul to vanity or swear deceitfully.

People who lift up their souls to vanity live only for worldly pleasures. Such individuals can do anything to achieve their goals, and Proverbs 28:20 says that anyone who makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Also, those who swear deceitfully are not trustworthy, and God will not use the hands of such individuals to do His work.

Beloved, if you want God to use your hands, then you must be ready to live by His standards. Our memory verse today says that he who has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. When your hands are clean, you will become a mighty vessel in the hands of God. You must also have a pure heart (Matthew 5:8) and be willing to do whatever He tells you, whether it sounds logical or not (John 2:5).

2 Timothy 2:19 says, “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” God needs your hands, but He will only use them if they are clean and pure.

KEY POINT

If you want to be a useful vessel in God’s hands, you must have clean hands.

HYMN: I Am Thine, O Lord

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL 7 NOVEMBER 2026 COMMENTARY

God is not looking for perfect people — He is looking for available ones. Today’s devotional, “He Needs Your Hands,” reminds us that whenever God wants to perform signs and wonders on earth, He looks for vessels He can use.

Daddy shows us that God often chooses to heal the sick through the hands of His children, but those hands must be clean and surrendered. This is both an invitation and a challenge: God wants to work through you, but He will only use hands that are pure.

God Is a Miracle Worker

The first lesson we must settle is that God is a miracle worker. Acts 19:11 says, “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul.” Notice carefully: God was the One who performed the miracles, not Paul. Paul simply made his hands available.

Think about the people around you who are sick — in your family, your workplace, your church. God is still in the business of healing, and He is looking for someone who believes enough to be His hands. The question is not whether God still works miracles; the question is whether you are available to be the vessel.

He Will Use Your Hands to Heal the Sick If You Surrender Them to Him

God wants to heal people but he needs your hands to do it. Jesus surrendered His hands for God to use and many were healed. Surrender means holding nothing back — your hands are no longer yours to do as you please; they belong to God for His purposes. In John 2:5, Mary told the servants at the wedding in Cana, “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” Those servants surrendered their hands to obey Jesus, and they witnessed a miracle.

Step out in faith when God prompts you to lay hands on someone. It means saying, “Lord, my hands are Yours — use them however You want.” The moment you surrender your hands, you become a conduit for God’s power. You don’t need a title, a pulpit, or a crowd. You just need to be available. God is searching the earth for surrendered hands — will He find yours?

God Uses You Mightily When Your Hands Are Clean

Daddy explains what clean hands look like: you will not lift up your soul to vanity — living only for worldly pleasures and doing anything to achieve your goals.

This means your character matters just as much as your anointing. God will not use dishonest hands, greedy hands, or hands that do evil. If you want to be a vessel of honour, you must keep your hands clean — in your business dealings, in your relationships, in your words, and in your thoughts. 2 Timothy 2:19 says, “Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” God needs your hands, but He will only use them if they are clean and pure.

Clean Hands, Stronger You

The world is full of sick people, hurting people, and people who need a touch from God. He is looking for hands He can use. Your hands can be the hands that bring healing to someone’s body, hope to someone’s heart, and deliverance to someone’s life. But first, those hands must be surrendered and clean.

Today, present your hands to God afresh. Ask Him to purify them and use them. And remember the promise: he who has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. You are not just serving God — you are becoming stronger as you do.

Action Steps

  1. Surrender your hands to God afresh. Take a moment today to open your hands before God and say, “Lord, these hands are Yours. Use them for Your glory.
  2. Examine the cleanliness of your hands. Ask yourself: Are my hands involved in anything dishonest, greedy, or impure? Are there habits, transactions, or relationships that defile my hands? Repent and cleanse your hands before God.
  3. Step out in faith to pray for the sick. Look for an opportunity this week to lay hands on someone who is sick and pray for them in faith, believing that God will use your hands to heal.

Prayer Points

  1. Father, I thank You for being a miracle worker and for choosing to use ordinary people like me to accomplish Your purposes.
  2. Lord, I surrender my hands to You afresh. Use them for Your glory — to heal the sick, to bless the needy, and to accomplish Your will on earth, in Jesus’ name.
  3. Father, please cleanse my hands from every form of vanity, deceit, and impurity.
  4. Lord, give me a pure heart as I serve You. Let my motives be right and my intentions pure, in Jesus’ name.
  5. Father, make me a vessel of honour, sanctified and set apart for Your use.
  6. Lord, as I step out in faith, let miracles happen through my hands, just as You did through Paul.
  7. Father, as I keep my hands clean and pure, let me grow stronger and stronger. Increase me in grace, power, and usefulness in Your kingdom, in Jesus’ name.
