THANKSGIVING FOR PAST CONVENTIONS
Tuesday, 7th July 2026
BIBLE TEXT: Psalm 92:4 – “For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.”
INTRODUCTION
Let us bless the Lord from the depths of our hearts for His goodness and mercy over our lives and family through the works of His hands and the wonder of His doings through past Conventions and special programmes.

PRAYER POINT 1
Father, we thank You for being our help in ages past; for all the mercies and blessings, in Jesus’ name. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, I thank You because from generation to generation, You have never failed Your church. Through every past Convention, Your mercy has sustained us. I personally thank You for the mercy that brought me to this year’s Convention season. Your compassions have not failed—they are new every morning!
PRAYER POINT 2
Father, we are grateful that the blessings of these past Conventions and the upcoming one will have a lasting impact in Jesus’ name. (Proverbs 4:18)
Personalized Commentary:
Father, Your path shines brighter and brighter. I thank You that the blessings received in past Conventions are not temporary—they continue to manifest in my life and family. I declare that the impact of every Convention I have attended will follow me all the days of my life. Let the light of those blessings never dim!
PRAYER POINT 3
Father, we thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness throughout the past Conventions by fulfilling every purpose. (Lamentations 3:23)

Lord, Your faithfulness is GREAT! You said You would do it, and You did it. Every agenda set for past Conventions—souls saved, bodies healed, destinies transformed—You fulfilled. I thank You that You are not a man that You should lie. Your faithfulness towards Your church and towards me personally is my anchor!
PRAYER POINT 4
Father, we thank You for Your steadfast love, which never fails us in Jesus’ name. (Lamentations 3:22)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, what would we have done without Your love? Your love has drawn us to You through every Convention. Through every message, every song, every prayer, Your love was evident. I thank You that Your love for me never fluctuates—it is steadfast, constant, and unchanging!
PRAYER POINT 5
Father, we are grateful for Your manifest presence in every one of our past Conventions and other gatherings in Jesus’ name. (Matthew 18:20)
Personalized Commentary:
Father, thank You for honouring every gathering with Your presence. When two or three gathered, You were there. When thousands gathered at the Redemption Camp, Your presence filled the place. I thank You that I experienced Your manifest presence—I wasn’t just in a crowd, I was in Your presence!
PRAYER POINT 6
Father, we thank You for providing for the needs of Your church according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus in Jesus’ name. (Philippians 4:19)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, we have never been stranded! Through every past Convention, You supplied every need. Food, accommodation, resources, finances—You provided. I thank You for being Jehovah Jireh to this church and to me personally. Supply my every need for this upcoming Convention in Jesus’ name!
PRAYER POINT 7
Father, thank You for every life touched, transformed, and renewed during the past Conventions in Jesus’ name. (Luke 15:10)
Personalized Commentary:
Heavenly Father, angels rejoiced because souls were saved! Lives were completely transformed—the addict became free, the broken was restored, the hopeless found hope. I thank You for the transformation I have experienced personally. Let the renewal continue in my life!
PRAYER POINT 8
Father, thank You for anointing and empowering Your sons and daughters who minister Your Word in Jesus’ name. (Romans 10:15)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, thank You for Daddy G.O., all the ministers, and every vessel You used to speak Your Word. Their feet were beautiful because they brought good news. I thank You for the oil upon their lives. Continue to anoint them for this upcoming Convention. Let fresh oil flow!
PRAYER POINT 9
Father, thank You for Your peace that surpasses all understanding and which guards our hearts and minds in Jesus’ name. (Philippians 4:7)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, despite the storms and challenges, Your peace was present in every past Convention. I personally thank You for the peace that has guarded my heart—even when I didn’t understand. Let that same supernatural peace overflow in my life again!
PRAYER POINT 10
Father, we thank You for open heavens and answered prayers during the past Conventions in Jesus’ name. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Personalized Commentary:
Father, we called and You answered! You showed us great and mighty things. Thank You for every prayer that was answered—privately and publicly. I celebrate that heaven opened over me. Let the heavens open again for this upcoming Convention!
PRAYER POINT 11
Father, we are grateful for Your protection over all attendees throughout the program in Jesus’ name. (Psalm 121:8)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, thank You for keeping us safe! Going and coming, watching over our homes and families while we were gathered—You protected us. No evil befell us. I thank You that Your angels camped around us. Continue to protect me, my family, and all attendees!
PRAYER POINT 12
Father, we give thanks for Your healing power manifesting in Your church in Jesus’ name. (Isaiah 53:5)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, by Your stripes we are healed! Thank You for every healing that took place—physical, emotional, spiritual. I declare that healing power over my body and mind. By the same power that healed in past Conventions, I receive complete wholeness today!
PRAYER POINT 13
Father, we appreciate You for every worker and volunteer who has laboured diligently during these programs in Jesus’ name. (Galatians 6:9)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, bless every usher, choir member, technical team, security, and all volunteers. They laboured not for recognition but for Your glory. May they not weary in doing good. Reward them openly. For those who served during past Conventions, let their season of harvest come!
PRAYER POINT 14
Father, we are grateful for the joy of Your presence that fills our hearts and homes after the Conventions in Jesus’ name. (Psalm 16:11)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, there is fullness of joy in Your presence! Even after past Conventions ended, the joy remained. Thank You that joy overflowed into our homes and relationships. I receive that joy again—not circumstantial joy, but the joy of Your presence!
PRAYER POINT 15
Father, we thank You for the strength we receive daily and renewed in our lives thereafter in Jesus’ name. (Nehemiah 2:18)
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, You are the source of my strength! Thank You for strengthening us to fast, to pray, to worship, and to serve. After each Convention, You renewed our strength like eagles. I declare renewed strength for the upcoming Convention. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

CLOSING DECLARATIONS
I declare that the God who has done great things in past Conventions will do even greater things in the upcoming Annual Convention!
I receive every promise that has not yet manifested from past Conventions—they shall come to pass!
I declare that this Convention season will be the best I have ever experienced!
I thank You, Lord, because You have made me glad by Your work—I will triumph in the works of Your hands!
Remember: Give thanks with dancing and singing for the wonders God has performed whenever His people gathered to seek His face.
