rccg marathon praise

The enemy always looks out for when a person is relaxed so he can attack him then. Don’t relax in your study of the Bible, don’t relax in prayers, don’t relax in evangelism, don’t relax in giving, don’t relax in working for God. All the devil needs to attack is a little time when you are relaxed. The devil won’t find a chance in you in Jesus name. #openheavens2020

To be battle ready means that you have the armor of God on at all times. This means that you must live a righteous life (the breastplate of righteousness), your salvation must be intact (the helmet of salvation), your faith must be strong (the shield of faith), you must always meditate on and memorize the word of God (the sword of the spirit), you must grid your loins with the word of God (the belt of truth), and preach the gospel everywhere you go (the sandals of the gospel). Praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:7) must be your lifestyle. Are you always battle-ready? You will not be considered irrelevant in the kingdom of God in Jesus name. #openheavens2020

Pastor EA Adeboye Words of wisdom

Pastor EA Adeboye Prophetic Word

When you become too busy to pray as you used to, watch out! That is the Devil trying to make you vulnerable so he can touch you, never let your prayer life get cold. May you receive divine help in the mighty name of Jesus.

Pastor EA Adeboye Words of wisdom 2020

That is why the devil tries to dampen the prayer life of an individual he hasn’t been permitted to touch.

In the spirit realm, certain people are termed ‘untouchable.’ These ones have a wall of fire around them that make them too hot to be touched – even by the devil. The moment you become a child of God; you have access to this group.

OPEN HEAVEN DEVOTIONAL 21 FEBRUARY 2020 – BE UNTOUCHABLE

Pastor EA Adeboye Prophetic Word

“Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.” – Numbers 31:16

If you would not be vulnerable, you must have no business with the devil. Check your prayer life.A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. Each day without prayer makes one cold and the devil will be waiting until such a person has grown cold enough so he can touch him/her

Thank You Jesus for delivering your daughters from the den of kidnappers(after 3days) on their way back home after last year’s Feast of Esther. Prayers of intercession were made on their behalf & God showed up, Glory!!!

TOPIC: Longevity

OPENING PRAYER: Father, satisfy me with long life in good health. (Scroll down for RCCG Sunday School 19 January 2020 HYMN)

BIBLE PASSAGE: Psalms 91:14-16 KJV (RCCG Sunday School TEACHER’s Manual 19 January 2020)

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

uble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

MEMORY VERSE: “For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.” – Proverbs 9:11

LESSON INTRODUCTION: Longevity is most commonly used to describe the length of one’s life-time. The word of God gives us straight forward principles that will enable us to enjoy long life on earth. Believers should note that as much as God wants us to live long on earth, He equally desires that we live a quality life (John 10:10b).

TEXT REVIEW: Psalms 91:14-16.

In today’s Bible passage, the Psalmist highlights some crucial rewards for anyone who genuinely loves God.

A. God will always deliver him from evil or dangers. v.14a

B. God will set him on high (in a place of honour). v.14b

C. When he calls (cries) to God:

i. …………………………………………….. v.15a

ii. ……………………………………………. v.15b

iii. …………………………………………… v.15c

iv. …………………………………………… v.15d

D. God will also:

i. ……………………………………………. v.16a

ii. …………………………………………… v.16b

2 LESSON OUTLINES

LESSON OUTLINE 1: BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO LONGEVITY

To live long, we must live by divine principles. Some of these principles are clearly stated in the bible. For instance:

i. It is important to fear God and keep His commands (Pro.3:1-2,7-8; 10:27)

ii. Positive confession supported with a disciplined lifestyle is another key (Pro.18: 21; 1 Peter 3:10; Col.4:6).

iii. Aside spiritual empowerment, fasting can also boost one’s health a and prolong life (Isa. 58:5-8).

iv. The bible also talks about honouring our parents as a secret of longevity (Pro.4:10; Eph.6:1-3; Ex.20:12).

v. In addition, we need to have a balanced lifestyle. Everything may be permissible, but not everything is beneficial (1Cor.10:23; 1Cor.6:19).

vi. Eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, observing good rest and avoiding stress constitute some of the other ways to have a balanced lifestyle.

CLASS ACTIVITY 1: Students should mention some lifestyles or habits that can cut short people’s lives in this dispensation.

LESSON OUTLINE 2: WHAT CONSTITUTES A QUALITY LIFE?

A. There are biblical examples of those who lived long.

i. Moses lived for 120 years (Deut. 31:2; 34:7)

ii. Abraham – 175 years (Gen.25:7).

iii. Enoch – 363 years (Gen.5:23).

iv. Sarah – 127 years (Gen. 23:1)

v. Noah – 950 years (Gen.9:29). etc.

B. However, it should be noted that neither Genesis 6:3 nor Psalm 90:10 is God-ordained age limits for humanity.

i. Gen.6:3 is a prediction of the timetable for the flood.

ii. Psalm 90:10 is simply stating that as a general rule, people live 70-80 years (which is still true till today).

C. Believers should know that:

i. Living long is good but the quality of such life is equally important ( Psa.92:13-14; Jer.29:11).

ii. We should live purposefully (in service to God and to humanity) in fulfillment of God’s plan for our lives.

CLASS ACTIVITY 2: Students should mention the essence of long life for believers.

SUMMARY: The essence of long life for is to have enough opportunity to fulfill the divine purpose for our existence on earth.

CONCLUSION: Not only does God want each one of us to have long life, but also to have a life of abundance spiritually, emotionally and physically (John 10:10).

EVALUATION: Students should mention four biblical principles to longevity.

CLOSING PRAYER: Father, give me the grace to accomplish all that You appointed for me on earth before I die.

ASSIGNMENT: Mention five (5) things that can boost (add to) the value or quality of the life of a believer.

TOPIC: Jesus Has Given Us Power To Dominate

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 10:18-19

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

STUDENT MANUAL RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL

MEMORY VERSE: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” – Luke 10:19

LESSON AIM: To make them understand that Jesus has equipped them to dominate.

CENTRAL TRUTH: Tremendous power to dominate is available to every child of God.

INTRODUCTION: The power of God is made available to us His children through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This power can overcome all powers of the enemy. To dominate means to have power and influence over something. It means ability to exercise control.

STUDY GUIDE:
A. Check and answering the questions below and understand more about this lesson:

  1. Who has all power and authority? Matt.28:18 ………………………………..
  2. Who gives His power to us? Luke 9:1 ……………………………………………
  3. We receive this at salvation. John 1:12 …………………………………………
  4. What is the power for? Luke 10:19 ……………………………………………….
  5. Eph.1:19-23. Describe the workings of God’s power from these verses
    …………………………………………………………………………………………
    …………………………………………………………………………………………

B. From our text, list out what we are to dominate and discuss them.

  1. …………………………………………………………………
  2. …………………………………………………………………
  3. …………………………………………………………………

DISCUSSION: When Jesus said serpent and scorpions, was He referring to the animals themselves or is there another meaning we can derive from the verve?

INVITATION/APPLICATION: Only those in Christ, those that have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour can exercise His power and authority. Have you accepted Him. If no, today is the day of salvation. And if yes, go ahead and begin to exercise your authority.

CONCLUSION: Since we have been made in the image and likeness of God, we therefore have the ability to understand and exercise authority like our father. The dominion He has given us is to live victoriously in this life. Are you exercising your dominion?

RCCG Sunday School STUDENT Manual

BIBLE PASSAGE: Luke 10:30-35 KJV (RCCG Sunday School STUDENT Manual 12 January 2020)

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

INTRODUCTION:

Healthcare is the maintenance or improvement of health via the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, illness, injury and other physical/mental impairments in human beings. The Bible is definitely pro-health and encourages us to take care of ourselves when we are sick. Proper attention should be given to any ailing parts of our bodies (Isaiah 1:5-6). The goal is to keep the body fit, as much as possible, in order to fulfil the purpose of living, serve and glorify the Lord (Isaiah 38:19).

OUTLINES

  1. Biblical clue
  2. The right approach

BIBLICAL CLUE

Seeking medical attention should not be viewed as demonic, lack of faith or carnal. Rather, there are scriptural proscriptions as well as contemporary medical interventions that do not just bring about quick relief but also saves lives (Isaiah 38:21). Ultimately, God heals (Exodus 15:26).

The Bible mention various medical processes/ treatments. For instance, people applied bandage and ointments to wound (Isaiah 1:6), Used oil and wine as healing agents (James 5:14; Luke 10:34; 1Timothy 5:23). This does not mean that modern surgery or pharmaceuticals are unbiblical, only that, when Bible was written, those treatments had not yet been invented (Daniel 12:4; Isaiah 33:6).

THE RIGHT APPROACH

There are several provisions at our disposal to improve or correct our health. Preventive healthy habits such as eating and sleeping well, drinking enough water, and doing regular exercises will steadily improve any person’s health. Christians should not hesitate to visit or consult with the approximate medical practitioners, when the need arises. We should however, avoid patronizing quarks, magicians or witchdoctors (Leviticus 19:31; Deuteronomy 18:10). Maternal healthcare is essential for pregnant women. Immunization of children against strange diseases/epidemics should not be taking for granted. It is also good to participate in healthcare insurance plan.

However, our ultimate faith and trust should be in God and not in the medical experts or medicine (Mark 5:25-26). All medical processes/treatments should be committed unto God before, during and after.

Physicians care, God heals ( Psalm 103:3; Psalm 7:20).

CONCLUSION
If we lack wisdom and let our bodies fall into disrepair, we risk sudden sickness or injury that can take us out of God’s purpose for living.

QUESTIONS

  1. What are the clues available for believers to care for their health?
  2. Mention the right approaches.

E. Modern surgery or pharmaceuticals are not umbilical, only that, when the bible was written, those treatments had not yet been invented (Dan. 12:4; Isa.33:6).

CLASS ACTIVITY 1: Students should discussions why some believers do not seek medical help to take care of their health challenges.

LESSON OUTLINE 2: THE RIGHT APPROACH

A. There are several provisions at the disposal to improve or correct our health.

i. Preventive healthy habits such as eating and sleeping well, drinking enough water, and doing regular exercises will steadily improve any person’s health.
ii. Christians should not hesitate to visit or consult with the appropriate medical practitioners, when the needs arise.
iii. We should, however, avoid patronising quacks, magicians or witchdoctors (Lev. 19:31; Deut.18:10).
iv. Maternal health-care is essential for pregnant women.
v. Immunisation of children against strange diseases/epidemics should not be taken for granted.
vi. It is good to participate in healthcare insurance plans.

B. However, our ultimate faith and trust should be in God and not in medical experts or medicine (Mk.5:25-26).
i. All medical processes/treatments should be committed unto God before, during and after.
ii. Physicians care, God heals. (Psalms 103:3; 7:20).

CLASS ACTIVITY 2: Students should mention some medical breakthroughs in modern times.

SUMMARY: Taking care of our health is not a sign of unbelief. It is to keep the body, soul and spirit together for destiny fulfilment.

CONCLUSION: If we lack wisdom and let our bodies fall into disrepair,we risk sudden sickness or injury that can take us out of God’s purpose for living.

EVALUATION: What are the clues available for believers to care for their health?

CLOSING PRAYER: Father, do not let my body fall into state of disrepair.

ASSIGNMENT: Mention five (5) things you know about orthodox/modern medicine and alternative/traditional medicine.

FIFTY DAYS FASTING & PRAYER GUIDE

PREAMBLE
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.” Psalms 46:1-5.
As the new year 2020 appeared with a special smiles upon mankind, God messages known as prophecies were delivered to us through our Father in – the- Lord, Pastor E.A. Adeboye- The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. The messages sounded like a chaotic situation in the passage quoted above. But, there is always a RIVER for everyone who belongs to God. God will always make Himself available to rescue them.
And we are highly encouraged to hear from God during the declarations of the prophecies that He would answer prayers this year. God knows we are wise children: we will allow him to fight on our behalf this year. That is why he promised us victory upon victory throughout this Century. Therefore we will permit the River of life to flow in His own way by swimming in the streams of prayers for fifty days. God will definitely help us, and He will deliver us on time.
