MEMORY VERSE: ” And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.” – Acts 16:9
BIBLE PASSAGE: Acts 16:4-10
4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
5 And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.
8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
LESSON INTRODUCTION:
Some traits that distinguished Paul as a great missionary in our text will be discussed.
TEXT REVIEW: Acts 16:4-10
i. Mission field is a battle field and when battles are won, the Body of Christ is strengthened
ii. Numbers of souls are increased to God’s Kingdom when we engage in Mission work
iii. Sensitivity is a must for everyone who must engage in mission work.
iv. Holy Spirit is the instructor, guidance and director of the Mission Field.
LESSON OUTLINES:
Paul has plans for missions: (covering new grounds for Christ), and consolidation of already founded churches. We can’t be so engrossed with conquering new territories that we let the already conquered one slip away and we can’t be so carried away with the already conquered territories that we forget the yet to be conquered ones. Who knows if the army that the anti christ is going to gather to fight Christ at Armageddon are the territories or the souls the church has failed to conquer or win. Christ said, those who are not with Him are against Him.
Paul was sensitive to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit stopped him twice from going to places he had planned to go to and he obeyed. He was not wise in his own eyes as to disobey the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Paul was a man of prayer: This is no news. After the Spirit stopped him twice, he prayed to know where He would go. This was his disposition since his encounter with the Lord on the way to Damascus (Acts 9:6). The result of his prayers opened a window for him to see where he was needed most – Macedonia. His obedience resulted in first and second Corinthians, first and second Thessalonians and the Philippians.
SUMMARY: Every believe has been to called unto mission work.
CONCLUSION: There may be no one calling in your dreams, but people are calling for helps in the streets, in the villages, in the creeks, in the deserts, in the cities etc; if you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, you will know where to go to and what to do. May be the Holy Spirit is also stopping you from going somewhere so that you can answer the call to missions. Maybe He is stopping you from spending on something so that you can sponsor mission’s activities.
ASSIGNMENTS: List the characteristics of a good missionary.
PRAYER POINTS
Lord, make me an incurable soul winner for You in Jesus Name.
Father, You sent Jonah to Nineveh and the people repented and came back to You, please send me today to that place penciled for Your mercy.
“Behold All souls are mine” says the Lord, Father, create in me addiction and compassion for souls as the joint heir with Jesus.
Holy Spirit, please lead RCCG to conquer more missionary ground for You both locally and foreign in Jesus’ Name.
Personal prayer request.

MEMORY VERSE: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” – 1 Corinthians 6:19
BIBLE PASSAGE: 1 Corinthians 6:13-20 KJV (RCCG Sunday School STUDENT Manual 12 April 2020)
13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
INTRODUCTION
The very fact that God created humanity as “male and female” reveals that we are created as sexual beings (Genesis 1:27). God’s command to “be fruitful and multiply” cannot be fulfilled without sex (Genesis 1:28). Sex was designed to consummate the lifetime Union between a man and woman (Genesis 4:1; Matt. 19:6). Purity is a reflection of God’s own character. Hence, sexual purity is a treasure to be guarded and valued. However, sex has been misused and abused (Romans 1:24-25) in the world because of sin (Romans 3:23).
OUTLINES:
SOME SEXUAL VICES
CONSEQUENCES AND THE WAY OUT
1. SOME SEXUAL VICES
Apart from adultery, which is a voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her spouse (Ex. 20:14) and fornication which is sexual sins between unmarried people, the world as also invented so many sexual acts or practices contrary to God’s intended purpose. Here are some of the sexual perversions that believers must guide against.
Homosexuality: Refers to sexual acts between people of the same gender. A man having sex with another man is gay while woman and woman sexual relationship is termed lesbianism (Lev. 18:22; Romans 1:26-27). This abominable act led to the destruction of the people of Sodom (Genesis 19:4-13),
Incest: Sexual activities between family members (Lev. 18:7-18),
Paedophilia: Perverted sexual attraction towards children,
Bestiality: Sexual affair with an animal (Leviticus 18:23),
Rape: Forceful sexual intercourse with an unwilling partner (2Samuel 13:10-14),
Pornography: The explicit literary or visual depiction of sexual subject matter with lustful intent; a display of materials of erotic nature e.g. Erotic videos, pictures, graphics or writings designed to provoke sexual lust. Pornography is addictive (1Corinthians 6:12; 2Peter 2:19) and destructive (Proverbs 6:25-28),
Masturbation and use of sex toys,
Cyber-sex/Phone-sex: Sex-oriented messages or conversations over the internet or using of phone to have improper sexual conversation or to listen to explicit erotic messages for the purpose of sexual perversion. It is fantasizing about that which is immoral and impure (Philippians 4:8).
2. CONSEQUENCES AND THE WAY OUT
Involvement in sexual vices, if not repented of, can lead to destruction of destinies (Genesis 49:3-4; 1Corinthians 6:16), contacting of strange disease (Sexual Transmitted Infections) and defiles the body thereby hindering the fulfilment of God’s purposes (1Corinthians 6:17). Unrepentant sexual sin defile the heart, making it impossible to experience the power of the holy spirit in your life because it takes away spiritual covering (1Corinthians 10:8). It brings God’s wrath (Numbers 25:1-11) and gives the devil (and his agents) the legal ground to operate (1Corinthians 6:19). Guilt and self-condemnation set in (Psalm 51:3). Sexual sin can destroy marriage and families.
In order to overcome sexual vices ( if you are already a victim), you must take the following steps:
Confess your sins to God (1John 1:9) and ask him to cleanse, renew and transform your mind (Romans 12:2)
Ask God to fill your mind With things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and commendable (Philippians 4:8).
Learn to possess your body in holiness (1Thessalonians 4:3-4)
Understand the proper meaning of sex and rely on your spouse only to meet that need,if you are married (1Corinthians 7:1-5)
Realise that if you walk in the spirit you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
Exercise self-control and practically avoid things or places that can trigger lust (Genesis 39:7-9;1Corinthians 6:18).
7.Get involved in spiritual exercise (study the Bible, fast, pray and fellowship with genuine brethren).

29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.
38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
LESSON INTRODUCTION:
Mercy is the ability to forgive and forget the sins of others. It may also be defined as an act of being compassionate to others, especially those who ordinarily would not have been forgiven. Jonah 2:1-10, Jonah 4:2. Favour, on the other hand, is an act of kindness performed or granted out of goodwill to others. 1Chronicle 28:4, 1Kings 3:7. Divine mercy and favour therefore is God’s ability to forgive human beings their sins and thereafter show kindness willingly, without any string attached to it. 1 Kings 3:6.
We pray that more than what we know, the master teacher, that is the holy Spirit, will reveal more, to us as we study together, In Jesus Name. Amen
MEMORY VERSE: “Thou shalt arise, [and] have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” – Psalm 102:13.
TEXT REVIEW: Matthew 15:29-39
i. God is mercyful to those who draw near him.
ii. God is ever mercyful to his children.
iii. One major criteria to obtain mercy is by showing mercy to others
LESSON OUTLINES:
CHARACTERISTICS OF DIVINE MERCY AND FAVOUR.
The under listed characteristics distinguished divine mercy and favour of mankind:
It is God’s prerogative, exclusively, to decide who is qualified to receive His mercy and favour. Romans 9:15-16, Matthew 17: 14-19, 1 Samuel 2:26, Matthew 20:30-34.
Man cannot have mercy and show favour unto someone unless ordained by God. Esther 2:15-17, 1Samuel 2:26.
Man’s mercy and favour are always done with strings attached.
They are also with ulterior motives.
God’s mercy and favour once he makes the statement, it’s performance is guaranteed.
CONCLUSION: Divine Mercy and favour is God’s ability to forgive human their sins and therafter show kindness wiilingly without any string attached to it. 1king 3:6. God’s mercy endures forever 1 Chronicles 16: 14.
ASSIGNMENTS: List other examples that obtained mercy from the Lord.

BIBLE PASSAGE: Proverbs 5:15-20 KJV (RCCG Sunday School STUDENT Manual 8 March 2020)
15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.
18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
INTRODUCTION:
Marriage is a sacred vow between a man a woman publicly acknowledged, permanently sealed and physically consummated. Bliss in marriage means having spiritual, physical and emotional Joy in your marriage. Therefore, marriage must be based on agreement -Amos 3:3, nurtured with love continuously. It also requires adjustments and sacrifices by both the husband and wife (Colossians 3:18-19).
OUTLINES
FOUNDATION FOR MARITAL BLISS
ELEMENTS OF CONTINUOUS MARITAL BLISS
1. FOUNDATION FOR MARITAL BLISS
Marriage is like a beautiful garden. We fall in love, get married, have children and raise family. The following foundations are required for a blissful marriage:
Truthfulness to the marriage vow: Play your part in your marriage irrespective of the fact that your spouse plays his/her part (Eccl. 5:4-6)
The wisdom of God: The wisdom for blissful relationship in marriage comes from God Proverbs 4:5-6)
Forgiveness: The need to practice advance forgiveness and be kind to one another is Paramount (Luke 17:3-4).
Romance and intimacy: These bind the love (Proverbs 5:15-20; 1John 3:18).
Setting boundary with friends, in-laws and other third parties to avoid misdirection is important (Proverbs 16:28).
Resolving conflicts in a healthy manner is an ingredient for a blissful marriage, because there’s no winner in any argument (Romans 12:17-18, 21).
Financial intelligence. That is, every spending is planned and adequately prepared for (Luke 14:28; Proverbs 18:15).
Effective communication with the use of each other’s language and listening to one another always are means for the bliss (James 1:19).
Appreciate your spouse from time to time and submit to one another (Song of Solomon. 4:1,7; Ephesians 5:21).
Sex matters must be handed wisely (1Corinthians 7:5).
2. ELEMENTS OF CONTINUOUS MARITAL BLISS
For a marriage relationship to be continuously blissful, here are some ingredients:
Pray more and fellowship together (Matthew 18:19; S.Sol. 2:10,13).
Always give glory to God, acknowledge Him for helping you so far in the journey and for further leading (1Thessalonians 5:18).
Train your children in God’s way to have rest of mind (Genesis 18:19; Proverbs 22:6).
Make your companionship unlimited (Genesis 2:24-25).
Making Heaven should be the ultimate goal of the couple.
CONCLUSION: A blissful relationship can take some work and sacrifices. It also requires constant attention. If properly nurtured, it will thrive, but if neglected, it will wither and die.

RCCG Sunday School HYMN
O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
O how I love Thee well,
I am happy, it makes me glad
To rejoice at Thy birth.
O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day, Thy friendship suits me well,
Both young and old will sing Thy song,
We long for Sunday School.
O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Christ was Thy first teacher,
The Holy Spirit, great teacher,
Does manifest in thee.
O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
This testimony is sure,
That God, the Father Almighty,
Poured His blessing on Thee.
O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Though the sun be so bright,
Or if the clouds black with rain,
I’ll be in Sunday School.
O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
I rejoice to see Thee,
Will thou pass over me today?
Without my being blest?

INTRODUCTION
Marriage is an institution ordained by God since the creation of man (Gen. 2:18). The divine order is that man should not be alone and that no one should lack his/her mate (Isaiah 34:16). Marital delay is, therefore, a situation whereby someone who is ‘due’ or ‘ready’ to marry is not yet married as a result of circumstances, sometimes, beyond his/her control. It should be noted, however, that anyone who chooses not to marry for ‘genuine’ reasons may not be in error (Matthew 19:12, 1Corinthians 7:7-8). Marital delay is a global phenomenon that gives parents, pastors, relatives, church members, marriage counsellors and the society at large serious concern. Hence, as believers, it is important to learn how to manage such a situation.

B. After the teacher has listened to the students’ comments, teacher should explain the seven identified factors as presented below:
i. CHARACTER DEFECT: Such as anger, malice, laziness, dirtiness, inferiority/superiority complex, overbearing, stubbornness, pride, etc. May repel prospective partners from someone due for marriage (Proverbs 21:9,19, Eccl. 10:1, 2Corinthians 10:12, Proverbs 16:18).
ii. HIGH MINDEDNESS: Waiting for or insisting on marrying a partner of high educational status, high standard of living, and high paying job in a reputation organization, wealthy family background, and top position in office or society, high level of spirituality, tall and heavily built, physically beautiful etc. Although, these qualities are good and desirable, such personalities may not be easily found (Phil. 2:3).
iii. EXCESSIVE CAREER FOCUS: Excessive focus on one’s career or business at the expense of preparation for marital relationship sometimes leads to delay in getting married (Eccl. 1:3-4).
iv. EMOTIONAL TRAUMA: Past experiences of failed relationships, sexual abuses, disappointment, domestic violence, parental/guardian misconduct, etc. usually constitute emotional imbalance for the victim and may lead to marital delay (Isaiah 43:18, Psalm 147:3)
v. RACIAL/TRIBAL SENTIMENTS: Most people who practice this are sometimes compelled or supported by their parents who insist they only get married to people from a particular race or tribe (Romans 10:12, Galatians 3:28).
vi. DELAY IN OTHER OF LIFE ACHIEVEMENT: Experience of delay in other spheres of life like educational pursuit, employment, financial stability etc, may be stumbling blocks to timely marriage (Psalm 90:14)
vii. DEMONIC INFLUENCE OR GENERATIONAL CURSE: Like in the case of Daniel’s petition, some marital delays are as a result of demonic influence (Daniel 10:12-13). Others may experience marital delay due to unbroken generational covenants or curses.
