Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 4 July 2019 – Declare Your Freedom

You have been set free from sin… – Romans 6:18, NIV

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 4 July 2019

Today we celebrate Independence Day in America. July 4, 1776 was the day America declared independence from Britain, but the battle for freedom went on until 1783—seven years later. Even though they declared their freedom in 1776, they had to stand and fight for many years before the British would accept and recognize the United States of America. In the same way, we have to be determined to stand against the opposing forces in our lives. We have to declare our freedom from addiction, poverty, sickness and lack. We have to stand and fight until we fully experience that freedom and peace that God has promised. I love what the early colonists did once they signed the Declaration of Independence. They read it out loud in public. They published it in the newspaper. They spread the word. They continued to declare and celebrate even though they were in the midst of the battle. Whatever battle you may be facing today, declare that you are free. Declare that you are an overcomer. Celebrate the victory that is on its way! As you stand strong and declare your freedom, you will experience His victory and you will live in true freedom all the days of your life!

Prayer For Today:

Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free in every area of my life. I declare today that nothing can hold me back. I declare that I am free from sickness, poverty, lack and addiction. I declare that You have set me free and thank You for freedom in every area of my life.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well – Psalm 139:14, NKJ

Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 2019

Have you ever noticed that when you ask someone “Who are you?” a lot of times they’ll say, “I’m a salesman.” “I’m a minister.” “I’m a coach.” “I’m a teacher.” Many people find their identity in what they do. The problem with this kind of thinking is that people identify themselves with their negative habits and strongholds, too. I hear people say, “I’m an alcoholic; I just can’t beat it.” No, that’s not who you are, that’s what you do. But if you keep thinking that way and talking that way, it will become so ingrained on the inside that you’ll convince yourself that it’s true, and it will keep you from rising higher. One time somebody told me, “Joel, I’m a drug dealer.” He was embarrassed by it. He didn’t want to live that way. I told him what I’m telling you, “That’s not who you are. If you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then who you are is a child of the Most High God. It’s time to start acting like it because you have a destiny to fulfill.” As a believer, you are the righteousness of God in Christ! You are the head and not the tail! You are an overcomer! Today, embrace who you are in Christ and don’t ever let your performance change your identity.

Prayer For Today:

Father God, thank You for who You are and for who You’ve made me. I declare today that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Help me to keep my identity in You and glorify You in all that I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 1 July 2019 – All Things Are Possible

Topic: All Things Are Possible [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 1 July 2019]

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” –Matthew 19:26, NIV

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 1 July 2019

Are you facing something today that seems impossible? With man it may be, but with God, ALL things are possible. If you seem to be in an impossible situation, get “with God!” Sometimes it’s so easy to focus on our problems and try to solve them in our own strength. But remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He has a plan for your victory. He has a plan to give you a way out. He is making the things that seem impossible, possible. You can trust Him today. The Bible says that He has plans for your good, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Start believing and confessing today, “I am with God, and with God all things are possible!” Are your bills piling up? With God, all things are possible. Do your relationships need healing? With God, all things are possible. Is there sickness in your body? With God, all things are possible! As you meditate on God’s Word, His power is activated in your life. He will strengthen you and lead you forward into that place of victory He has in store for you.

Prayer For Today:

Heavenly Father, thank You for making a way where there seems to be no way. I choose to trust You, and I believe that all things are possible! Show me Your power today. Work through me to encourage those around me to trust You more in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 26 June 2019 – In An Instant

Topic: In An Instant [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 26 June 2019]

And in an instant, suddenly, you shall be visited and delivered by the Lord of hosts… – Isaiah 29:5–6, AMPC

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 26 June

Today’s Word:

Throughout the Bible, we have examples of how God suddenly showed Himself strong on behalf of His people. But sometimes when we’ve struggled in an area for a long time, it’s easy to just give up and accept things the way they are. One of the enemy’s favorite lies is to tell you that nothing is ever going to change. He’ll tell you that you’re never going to get well, that your marriage isn’t going to work out, that you’re never going to break that addiction. But it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in those circumstances, God can change things in an instant! In a split second of time, He can turn it all around. One touch of God’s power can heal your body. One touch of His favor can promote you. One touch of His goodness can solve that problem. Just one touch from Almighty God can instantly change your life.

I encourage you today, keep believing, keep standing, and keep hoping. Don’t let the enemy drag your thoughts down because God is working behind the scenes. Your time is coming, and I declare that your breakthrough is going to happen suddenly—in an instant!

Prayer For Today:

Prayer: Father in heaven, I choose to trust that You are working things out for my good. I choose to stand in faith, believing that my season of breakthrough is coming. Give me Your strength and peace as I patiently wait on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 23 June 2019 – A Door of Opportunity

Topic: A Door of Opportunity [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 23 June 2019]

Today’s Scripture: “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” – Colossians 3:2, NIV

Today’s Word:

God is ready to present you with new opportunities! He wants to open new doors before you. It doesn’t matter what’s happening in the world around you, God’s Word remains true! In an instant, God can bring the right people into your life, the right opportunities, and the right resources to take you to a whole new level. But in order to go to a higher level, you have to have a higher way of thinking. You can’t allow worry and fear to fill your thoughts because fear actually blocks the door of God’s blessing. Instead, fill your mind with the Word of God. Let His truth empower you because His ways are always higher than our ways, and even now, He is working behind the scenes on your behalf to open a door of opportunity!

Father, thank You for opening doors for me that no one can close! I believe that You are faithful, and You are a rewarder of those who seek after You. Fill me with Your peace and joy today as I seek You and look for the door of opportunity in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 20 June 2019 – Keep No Record

Topic: Keep No Record [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 20 June 2019]

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 20 June 2019

Today’s Scripture: “…and [love] keeps no record of being wronged.” – 1 Corinthians 13:5, NLT

Today’s Word:

The Bible says that God is love. He doesn’t just have love, He is love. The love we have is an extension of Him. When you invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life, the Bible says that He actually makes His home in your heart. Think about that for a minute. The Creator of the universe, who cannot be contained by anything, chose to make His home on the inside of your heart. That means that perfect love is on the inside of you. First Corinthians 13 tells us what that looks like. When we are walking in God’s love, we are patient. We are kind. Love always forgives. That means choosing to let go of bitterness, hurt and anger. If you have a mental list of all the people who have hurt or offended you, let it go. Let His love work in you and through you today.

Prayer For Today:

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving and setting me free. Thank You for choosing to live on the inside of my heart. Show me if I am holding on to unforgiveness in any area so that I can forgive and walk in peace and victory today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 13 June 2019 – God wants you to Go For It!

Topic: God wants you to Go For It! [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 13 June 2019]

Today’s Scripture: “…the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.” – Matthew 11:12, ESV

Today’s Word:

It’s time to be aggressive and energetic when it comes to letting go of the past and pressing forward to the abundant life God has in store. You can’t sit around in self-pity and think about what you lost, who hurt you, and how unfair it was. It’s time to develop a warrior mentality and boldly go after your victory! A warrior doesn’t complain about opposition; a warrior loves a good fight. It’s time to proactively pursue the happiness, health, and peace that is promised in God’s Word. God told Joshua to cross over the Jordan and go in and possess the land. Notice that the word “possess” implies action. It means to drive out the previous tenants. It’s time to quit dwelling on past mistakes and failures and determine to never look back! As you set your focus on the Word of God and His promises, you’ll discover victory rising in every area of your life—you’ll discover the champion in you!

Prayer For Today:

God, I want to live the victorious life you intended for me. I know I am not perfect, but help me to focus on the future, not my past mistakes, and grant me the courage to pursue the happiness, health, and peace that you promised for me. In Jesus’ name – Amen.

  1. I will praise You, O Lord , with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
  2. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
  3. When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence.
  4. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.
  5. You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever.
  6. O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished.
  7. But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.
  8. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.
  9. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.
  10. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord , have not forsaken those who seek You.
  11. Sing praises to the Lord , who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people.
  12. When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.
  13. Have mercy on me, O Lord ! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,
  14. That I may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation.
  15. The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.
  16. The Lord is known by the judg ment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah
  17. The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God.
  18. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.
  19. Arise, O Lord , Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight.
  20. Put them in fear, O Lord , That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah

Today’s text begins with David praising God in his lips (verses 1&2). He praises God for His marvelous works in his life, namely: (1) Turning back his enemies (2) Vindicating the cause of the righteous (3) Rebuking the heathen and (4) Destroying the destroyer. In verses 7-12, he acclaims that since the Lord renders right judgment without prejudice, he can be rest assured of having a place of refuge in God’s care. In verses 13 and 14, he prays for deliverance from those who oppressed him.

God has done so many wonderful things for us and we should praise Him every day. All the reasons adduced by the psalmist and many more we cannot count, should drive us to the place of praise. Praising God is an affirmation of God’s goodness and open doors for greater blessings. Never cease to praise God.

PRAYER: Take time to pray, praise and thank God for all His marvelous works in your life, especially for deliverance from your enemies.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 12 June 2019 – When You’re in Deep

Today’s Scripture: “They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep.” – Psalm 107:24, NIV

Topic: When You’re in Deep [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 12 June 2019]

Today’s Word:

The Scripture says, “They that go down to the sea and do business in deep waters. They will see the wonders of God” (Psalm 107). Friend, you and I were created to do business in deep waters. In other words, we’re not supposed to have little dreams or little plans. We are supposed to have big dreams. We are supposed to go out into the deep things God has for us.

But understand, when you’re out there in the deep waters, you can’t touch the bottom. You can’t see the shoreline, and at times, it can get a little rocky. You may not always see how things are going to work out. But the Scripture tells us that deep calls to deep. In other words, God is the One who has called you to the deep waters. He is with you, and He knows there are deep things inside you. Remember, in deep waters, you are not alone. God is with you, and He’s causing those deep things that are inside you to come forth.

If you feel like you are out in the deep today, if you feel overwhelmed, remember, you are in the right place and God is with you. You will see His wonderful deeds in the deep, and you will fulfill the plan He has in store for you.

Prayer For Today:

Father in heaven, I surrender every area of my life to You. I hunger for every single thing You have in store for me. I choose to trust You out in the deep waters knowing that You have good things in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 6 June 2019 – Refuse To Worry!

Topic: Refuse To Worry! [Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 6 June 2019]

Today’s Scripture: “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” – Matthew 6:27, NKJV

Joel Osteen Daily Devotional

Today’s Word:

Worrying gives the devil the opportunity to move, just like worship gives God the opportunity to move. Worrying means to play the enemy’s lies in your mind over and over again. God promises in Isaiah 26:3 that He will keep us in perfect peace when we keep our minds stayed on Him. Pay attention to what is playing in your mind. When you dwell on negative thoughts, you’re not going to have peace. You have to change what you’re dwelling on. So when the opportunity to worry comes, use it as a reminder to worship the Lord and thank Him for His good and precious promises! Cast all of your cares on the Lord because He cares for you! Joel and Victoria Osteen’s Devotional 6 June 2019

Prayer For Today:

God, I am weary from worrying. Please help me to stop the soundtrack of needless worry that plays over and over again in my head. I want to place my fears and concerns in Your hands and live in peace knowing that You will fulfill all of your precious promises to me. In Jesus’ name – Amen.
